Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1514

After finishing her morning tasks at the Innovation Hub, Germaine stretched lazily and glanced out the window.

In the office across the way, Jenson and Cody sat quietly together, their calm presence creating a peaceful atmosphere.

Now that she was free from them, Germaine felt a wave of relief and excitement. She quickly grabbed her gaming console, eager to dive into an intense gaming session.

As soon as she logged in, a notification popped up.

"Little Sidekick has requested to add you as a friend."

Little Sidekick? Who could that be?

Germaine considered ignoring the request, but the sender was surprisingly persistent, flooding her with friend requests. Reluctantly, she accepted.

Once the request was confirmed, Little Sidekick sent a message with a heart emoji: "Hi! Not many people play this game. Do you like it too?"

Seeing the emoji, Germaine assumed the sender was a woman. She replied patiently, "Yeah, I really enjoy it! But I'm not very skilled. I've only been playing for a few months, and my level is still pretty low."

Little Sidekick responded almost immediately: "This game takes time. If you're short on it, you'll need to team up. I can help you out! Teehee!"

"Alright, let's give it a shot. I hope I won't slow you down," Germaine replied.

Once she agreed, Little Sidekick sent a team invite, and they entered the game together.

"We should all play together next time!" Germaine suggested.

After agreeing on a time, they both logged off.

Germaine rarely played this well, and it felt like a weight had been lifted. She grabbed her phone and ordered an extravagant meal to treat Jenson and Cody as a reward.

But when she peeked into the adjacent office, she was greeted by the sight of Jenson and Cody running around like wild ostriches, shouting and laughing uncontrollably.

Germaine couldn't help but shake her head in exasperation. She realized she had been too optimistic; with those two together, chaos was bound to ensue.
