Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1504

"So women can just act irresponsibly, huh? She's no different from a heartless traitor! Germaine! I don't even like you! No other woman looks down on me like this!" Jenson groaned, tears brimming in his eyes.

Taylor squeezed through a gap and plopped down beside Adrian, a sly grin forming on his face. "Who's this lady? Looks like she's got some serious skills to get you drinking like this."

"His boss," Adrian replied, his mood mirroring Jenson's. Although he wasn't wallowing in despair, his drink was almost gone.

"What's going on here? You all drag me out for drinks, and no one has a smile on their face…" Sensing the heavy atmosphere in the room, Taylor poured himself a drink and gulped it down in one go.

The moment he set his glass down, Jenson wrapped his arms around Taylor's legs, his eyes half-closed as he mumbled nonsensically.

"Taylor, how can I ever win over a woman as flawless as her? I have great driving skills, but she still went and found someone else to drive her. Do you think she's into someone else now?"

"You've got to be kidding me. You're a grown man, for crying out loud. Why are you getting so worked up over a failed romance?" Taylor exclaimed, rolling his eyes. But despite his annoyance, he couldn't help but offer some brotherly advice.

He cupped Jenson's face in his hands and gave it a few light pats. "Snap out of it! You can't just give up after a minor setback. How are you going to show your sincerity like that?

"Germaine is replacing you as her driver, right? Just outdo that guy! When it comes to pursuing a lady, you have to be bold; otherwise, how will you win her over?"

Despite feeling dazed, Jenson managed to take in the advice. "You're right! I'm the only one who should drive her! It has to be me!"

With that passionate proclamation, he suddenly passed out, his head landing on Taylor's leg.

Taylor shook his head in exasperation. "With a tolerance like that, he should be sitting at the kids' table during meals!"

"He's my new driver and navigator," Germaine explained calmly. "Also, my nephew."

"Is this seriously the guy you found to take my place?" Jenson asked awkwardly, trying to force a smile.

"Hey! I'm not just 'some guy'—I have a name! It's Cody Lloyd!" the boy interjected enthusiastically.

Jenson was momentarily speechless, unsure of how to respond. By the time he regained his composure, Germaine had already settled into the car. Without thinking twice, Jenson opened the back door and climbed in.

Germaine sighed, catching his gaze in the rearview mirror. "Maybe you should consider driving your own car, Mr. Newton."

"I didn't drive today," Jenson replied defiantly, standing his ground.
