Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1495

Hearing Abraham's question, Katie avoided his gaze and unconsciously lowered her voice. "I'm almost ready. I'll definitely pass the grade ten exam and join the Piano Association this time. Don't worry, dad."

"That's great. You failed the exam and embarrassed me in front of my friends last time. You must not screw up again this time. Hurry up and practice." Abraham was exhausted, wishing to end this drama as soon as possible.

"But Kaylee wants me to make her crème brulée…" Katie took the opportunity to complain.

Abraham shot Helen a glance. "She should make it herself if she wants to eat it. Everyone in this house, listen up—Katie's hands are meant for playing piano. If anyone dares to hurt her hands, I won't let it go."

It seemed like he was warning everyone in the Terzian residence, but they all knew that the words were directed at Helen.

With Abraham backing her up, Katie would not have to slave away in the kitchen anymore. She cast a smug gaze at Helen before heading upstairs with Abraham.

Just as Abraham and Katie turned the corner, they ran into Seymour, who was about to go downstairs. Abraham quickly realized that he was the man Helen had brought back, as Diana mentioned on the phone.

"Who are you? It's inappropriate to stay in someone else's house without reason for so long," Abraham said, indirectly driving Seymour out.

Seymour nodded politely. "Let me introduce myself—I'm Kaylee's husband, and I'll be living with everyone from now on. I hope we can get along well."

"Wait a minute," Abraham interrupted. "What are you talking about? My daughter is still a maiden. Watch your words, or I'll sue you for defamation."

"He's telling the truth." Helen walked over to Seymour from behind them. "We got married abroad."

"What? Got married? You made such a big decision without even discussing it with me? How many more things have you done behind my back?" Abraham's anger flared up again.

Abraham's cheeks puffed up in anger, but he couldn't really hold a grudge against someone younger than him. He could only quicken his pace and return to his room furiously.

As soon as he closed the door, he was hit by a nauseating odor. "What is this smell? Why is it so stinky?" He pinched his nose, not daring to breathe.

As he spoke, the bathroom door was opened. Diana held onto the wall and staggered out. "Honey, you're finally back. I've had diarrhea for a whole day and night. Please help me get a doctor…"

Diana was so weak that she could barely stand. Just as she finished speaking, her stomach churned again, and she kept farting uncontrollably.

Abraham nearly threw up. Without saying a word, he covered his mouth, opened the door, and ran straight into the opposite guest room.

Helen watched everything calmly and then gazed at the smug Katie. After that, she headed back to her room nonchalantly.
