Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1493

Katie watched helplessly as Diana swallowed the two red velvet cupcakes, her brow furrowing in despair. Why was Diana so gluttonous?

Helen wiggled the red velvet cupcake in her hand, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly into a crescent shape. "Katie, do you want to try it?"

"No. No, thanks." Katie shook her hands vigorously, rejecting Helen with all her might. "I've eaten it at the shop, so I'm very full now. I can't take another bite."

"I see." Helen lowered her eyes in disappointment, but her lips remained curved in a smile.

She turned to Diana and said kindly, "Katie doesn't want to eat them, and I also suddenly lost my appetite. Diana, could you please help me finish these cupcakes?"

Diana was stunned by Helen's kind act. She nearly choked and had to pound her chest a few times to catch her breath. She then tried to act calm and replied, "If that's the case, I'll take them then."

"Alright, thank you." Helen remained smiling.

Diana returned to the kitchen with the cupcakes, walking cheerfully as her taste buds were satisfied. Katie was worried that Diana might eat all the cupcakes. She quietly went behind Helen and wanted to go in to remind Diana.

But halfway there, Helen suddenly turned and stood up, looking at Katie. "Katie," she called, her smile fading.

"Don't just stand there. A new day is coming soon, and I want to eat crème brulée tomorrow. You may go and prepare it now."

Katie gasped. "Do you want me to make it myself?"

"Huh?" Diana initially had only felt a slight discomfort in her stomach. But after hearing Katie's words, she suddenly experienced a sharp pain and clutched her stomach in agony. "Why didn't you say so earlier?"

As she spoke, she felt like a strong force was about to burst out of her. She rushed out, releasing foul-smelling gasses as she ran.

Katie covered her nose in disgust and quickly left.

The next morning, Abraham walked into the house with a suitcase and saw Katie sprawling on the couch haggardly.
