Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1476

"I don't know what key you're talking about! Don't try to pin this on me! The woman who danced with you tonight wasn't me! I was knocked unconscious before I even entered the venue! How could I have taken the key?" the dance champion protested, gritting her teeth against the pain.

Miguel's eyes wandered as he recalled how his dance partner had switched outfits right before they stepped onto the stage.

He released the woman and stood up, lost in thought.

So, was this all planned from the start?

How did his dance partner know he would have someone else replace Caroline? Had she been targeting him the moment he stepped into that venue?

No wonder she had bolted at the last minute.

"Shit!" Miguel slammed his fist on the table, veins bulging in his forehead. "Who the hell is that woman?"

The next day, the art world was abuzz with excitement.

"Renowned landscape painter Seraphina Quarto will hold a solo exhibition in three days at 43 Byte Street, Glendale Technology Complex. All are welcome to attend!"

Benjamin posted the news in their group chat, and everyone saw it as a summons from Helen.

On the day of the exhibition, the entire Dragon's Den crew came together.

They would soon learn if it was indeed Helen once they saw the paintings. And even if it wasn't her, they were resolute in uncovering who was using Seraphina's name to sell counterfeit art.

After all, Seraphina's reputation carried significant weight in the art world; calling it a rallying point would be an understatement.

On the day of the exhibition, nearly every celebrated artist in the country was in attendance, eager to strike it lucky and take home one or two of Seraphina's prized creations.

Not only would buying a painting impress Ashley, but it would also be a thoughtful gesture for Taylor; the idea lifted Bentley's spirits.

"No thanks," Taylor replied with a smile, giving Bentley a playful pat on the shoulder. "You should save your pocket money for gaming with Tommy instead—don't be a sucker!"

"Tommy's been studying like crazy these past few months; we hardly see each other anymore. Taylor, you really need to talk to him. He's going to burn himself out," Bentley said earnestly.

Taylor burst into laughter. "Looks like Tommy is really motivated. Shouldn't you be secretly glad to ride his coattails?"

"But I am the coattail! Why would I want to hitch a ride on him? He looks worn out as it is. Besides, if I needed help, I could always count on you, right?

"My dad says our families are quite alike. The interest on our bank accounts could last for generations! So why bother putting in the effort?" Bentley replied, genuinely puzzled.

"How can a small fish comprehend the dreams of a great whale?" Abigail's voice floated over as she approached. "As the self-proclaimed king of slacking off, you'll probably never understand the joy of truly striving for something!"
