Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1444

Jenson went forward to accept the gift and even showcased the grilled food. "Welcome here. Hurry and try the grilled food by my brothers. It tastes absolutely amazing."

"Really?" Cheryl asked, her eyes filled with anticipation as she reached out to take one of the skewers of grilled chicken wings from Adrian's hand. Her eyes lit up after taking a bite, and she constantly nodded.

"Yes, it's really not bad. Mr. Adrian, you're so talented."

"Thank you," Adrian replied indifferently.

Priscilla originally thought this girl was quite polite, but she instantly became upset upon seeing this. The chicken wings that Adrian grilled were meant for Ursula, yet Cheryl showed no courtesy at all.

Priscilla quickly took the remaining skewer and handed it to Ursula. "Ursula, you should try Adrian's cooking, too."

"No, Madam Newton. I'm on a diet, so I can't eat these high-calorie foods," Ursula rejected.

Adrian instantly pulled a long face. It wasn't that Ursula didn't eat high-calorie foods; she just didn't want to eat the food he made. His expression grew gloomy as he thought about it.

"Ms. Smoke, what else do you want to eat? I'll grill it for you." Although he was speaking to Cheryl, his gaze was fixed on Ursula.

However, Ursula seemed to have not heard anything as she calmly picked up a bottle of water from the table, opened it, and took a sip. It was as if she was in a completely different world.

Priscilla was a little frustrated when she turned to look at Adrian and Cheryl. Although Cheryl seemed nice, Priscilla found her voice was quite too shrill, and she couldn't bring herself to like Cheryl.

Besides, being too proactive wasn't a good thing either.

What was wrong with Adrian? Could he be just as tasteless as Chandler? No way, the tragedy must never be repeated. She had to come up with a way to stop things from continuing like this.

But before Priscilla could think of a way, Cheryl and Adrian came over with the grilled food. "Madam Newton, Ms. Gabin, try these. Adrian is really good at grilling." When Cheryl smiled, her two dimples showed, making her appear quite charming.

But Priscilla's face darkened, and she was very unhappy. Adrian? They had only known each other for such a short time, yet Cheryl was already calling him so intimately. As a girl, she should be more reserved.
