Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1394

"Do you even know how to modify cars?" Taylor asked, his interest piqued. "My boss is capable of it as well? Why don't you tell me the past stories between you two?"

Abigail found a window seat and sat down, flipping through the menu and retorting, "Are you interested in me or Hels?"

She paused and warned him with a provocative stare, "Did you forget that Hels is married?"

Upon hearing that, the gleam in Taylor's eyes instantly dimmed. He set her helmet aside, and his expression became less natural.

Seeing his embarrassed expression, Abigail revealed a complacent smile and beckoned to a waiter. "Other than these three, please bring me one of everything."

Taylor raised his eyebrow and asked, "Can you finish all those?"

Wasn't it said that women had small appetites? Why was this one different from the others?

"What's wrong? Are you reluctant to pay for the few things I eat?" Abigail gazed at him with narrowed eyes.

"I'm just worried that your stomach might hurt. Eat all you want then." Taylor got up to button his suit and ordered, "I'll have a cup of black coffee with a little milk and no sugar."

He then went to the restroom.

After a few of the items Abigail ordered were served, Taylor's coffee was also served. Abigail glanced at the coffee for a while and revealed an evil smile, reaching out to bring the coffee closer.

When Taylor returned from the restroom and sat down, he naturally brought the coffee to his mouth. As soon as he took a sip, he spat it out with a grimace of pain.

"Darn it! What is this? Why is it salty?" Taylor was a little irritated by the strange taste.

Taylor gazed at her condescendingly without any expression, making it hard to decipher his emotions. The atmosphere was both awkward and suffocating.

A few seconds later, Taylor suddenly sat back down and grinned mischievously. "Did I scare you this time? You've been fooled. Don't you dare to be so haughty again."

Abigail immediately realized that she had been tricked. "How dared you trick me." She grabbed a fork and was about to stab him.

"Hey, hey, hey." Taylor pointed at the fork and warned seriously, "Jokes are jokes; don't take them too seriously. Otherwise, I won't have mercy on you even if you're my boss' friend."

Abigail, unable to contain her anger, stabbed the dessert in front of her with the fork and shoved it into her mouth. She then cast him a resentful glare.

It was never too late to take revenge. She wouldn't let this rest.
