Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1391

"Since you're already there, you can stay in Glendale for the time being. I have some matters to take care of in Windspire City, and I'll go back as soon as I'm done. There are maids at home, so just let them know if you need anything."

"Okay." Abigail happily hung up the phone and tossed it back to Taylor.

"What did my boss say?" Taylor asked.

"She asked you to take good care of me and go along with everything I say. Don't go against me, or she will sever all ties with you," Abigail lied smoothly.

Taylor raised his eyebrow in suspicion and was about to question her when Helen's message popped up on his phone, "Dear Taylor, keep an eye on Abigail until I come back. Don't let her leave Glendale."

He finally removed his doubts and put away his phone.

"Since we're friends of my boss, then let's make peace." He reached out his hand for reconciliation. "I'm sorry for what happened just now."

Abigail tilted her head and looked at him. An idea occurred to her as she said playfully, "We're not friends. I'm your boss' friend, so you also have to call me boss."

"That won't do," Taylor slipped his hands into his pockets and rejected firmly. "I only have one boss, and no one can replace her."

"You—" Abigail puffed her cheeks in anger. "Is this how you apologize? I'll complain about you to Hels."

"Even if you complain, I won't call you boss." Taylor remained unmoved.

"You—Hmph!" Abigail could do nothing except being annoyed. After all, he was a friend of Helen, and she couldn't push him too far.

Taylor took out his car key to unlock the car and tried to make amends again. "Let's go, I'll take you to get some good food."

"I won't ride in a nasty man's car." Abigail rode her motorcycle arrogantly and said angrily, "Give me the address."

"Celebrity Hotel," Taylor answered innocently.

Even after she said those words and waited for a long time, Cameron still showed no reaction. She was used to this, so she forced a bitter smile and continued her care in silence.

Suddenly, there was a noise coming from the corridor outside. It sounded like someone had fainted. Rainey put the towel aside and went over to open the door in suspicion.

Just as she reached the door, a few men in sunglasses pushed the door open and entered. One of them held a knife to her throat and ordered her to step aside.

The other men walked toward Cameron and pushed him with the bed out after a quick handling. When they passed by Rainey, she gripped the railing of the bed tightly.

"I'm warning you to stay out of this." The man in sunglasses pressed the knife a few inches closer.

Rainey gazed at the sharp blade and gulped nervously, but she still braced herself and refused to let go.

"I'm sure you don't intend to kill him since you're taking him away. In that case, caring for him would be troublesome. Take me with you; I'm his wife, and I can look after him. It will save you a lot of trouble."
