Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1371

Sadie felt trapped, surrounded with no escape. She crouched down, clutching her head in a frenzy. "I don't know! I don't know, I don't know anything!"

Adam shook his head and picked up the microphone once more. "On behalf of the Calligraphy Association, I officially announce the cancellation of Sadie's eligibility for the finals and the termination of her membership. She will never be readmitted!"

With that, Helen took her seat as a judge and began scoring the remaining contestants.

Ultimately, the highest score went to contestant number 12, Gloria—the very woman Helen had encountered earlier in the restroom.

Helen personally handed the championship trophy to Gloria. "Congratulations! You have incredible talent; with more practice, you'll continue to shine."

"Thank you, Ms. Void!" Gloria exclaimed, her excitement palpable.

Just before posing for a photo with the reporters, she suddenly grabbed Helen's arm and said, "Ms. Void, I've always admired your work. May I have the chance to learn from you?"

Helen paused, weighing her options. Gloria had never trained under a specific mentor, which gave her style a unique flair that set her apart.

She sensed that Gloria recognized how her independence had been a strength. Seeking mentorship publicly felt like a strategic move to tackle the challenges posed by her demanding stepmother.

Nevertheless, having already backed Gloria this much, Helen was determined to go all in. After all, a person's writing reflected their character. Gloria's calligraphy showcased considerable flair, indicating she was indeed someone of merit.

"Alright," Helen said, nodding in agreement.

Gloria bowed before the reporters, officially becoming Iris' student.

Once the competition wrapped up, Augustine and Adam pulled Helen aside.

"Don't even think about slipping away this time!" Adam exclaimed, gripping Helen's sleeve as if fearing she might escape. "We're not letting you go until you've committed to at least ten days with the Calligraphy Association. We need some serious practice sessions!"

"This may not be the right place for you anymore. You'll be reassigned to a branch association in the neighboring district," Adam declared, shutting down any chance for discussion.

Dylan wanted to speak up, hoping to negotiate a better outcome. Nonetheless, the fierce look on Adam's face made him change his approach. "I appreciate your thoughtfulness, Mr. Lescher. I'll comply immediately and go home to pack."

"Good," Adam replied curtly, not bothering to look up.

Once Dylan hurried away, Gloria approached Helen cautiously to express her gratitude. "Ms. Spencer, thank you for not rejecting me earlier."

Helen saw through Gloria's motives. "This is a one-time offer; I don't appreciate being manipulated," she stated firmly.

"It won't happen again. I'm confident I'll be able to stay with my family this time," Gloria said, brimming with assurance.
