Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1365

The atmosphere among the calligraphy experts crackled with excitement, a rare thrill that had been absent for years.

Adam and Augustine exchanged knowing glances, a silent agreement passing between them. In unison, they picked up their pens to score on the whiteboard.

Moments later, the host gestured for them to reveal their scores. "Alright, let's see what you've got!"

Adam and Augustine displayed their scores at the same time.

The big screen zoomed in, revealing two glaring zeroes.

Adam's score: 0

Augustine's score: 0

Their combined total was even lower than Helen's, adding up to a mere one. Sadie had officially set a record for the lowest score in the calligraphy competition.

The host offered an awkward smile; this could certainly be deemed a record of sorts.

Helen raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Lescher and Mr. Crawford, don't you think that's a bit harsh?" After all, Sadie was a young woman, and a touch of grace was certainly in order.

In Adam's and Augustine's eyes, Sadie's actions were simply unforgivable. If they could have assigned negative points, they would have happily marked her with a -100, effectively nailing her to a pillar of shame.

Meanwhile, the audience erupted in an uproar. As respected calligraphers, Adam's and Augustine's scores clearly indicated their stance, leading many to question whether Sadie truly deserved their support.

Dylan finally lost his temper and stormed up to the judging panel. "Mr. Lescher, I know you and Augustine are close, but you can't be this biased!

Despite being momentarily caught off guard, Dylan pressed on, "I'm familiar with most members below gold status in the Association, and I can confidently say there's no one named Helen."

Augustine found himself in a challenging position; this was a difficult point to articulate. Membership levels were merely a formality, after all. Helen's skills had already exceeded Sadie's; she just hadn't been formally recognized yet.

While having Helen score Sadie could be seen as reasonable, it also raised questions about propriety.

"Looks like you've forgotten that the association has tiers beyond gold that you don't have access to!" Adam retorted, his expression darkening.

He was shocked that Dylan had the nerve to question him; how had Augustine allowed things to reach this point?

The audience stared in stunned silence, mouths agape as they absorbed the revelation. Adam's implication was clear—Helen was a VIP member of the association.
