Unmasking Mrs. Newton's Secret Identities novel Chapter 1333

Mia quickly helped Scott to his feet.

As soon as he regained his balance, he shoved her aside, clearly venting his frustration on her.

Tyrone was somewhat of a friend to Mia, but when he hit Scott, she felt a rush of guilt. Instead of directing her anger at Scott, she frowned, her expression filled with concern for him.

"What kind of man resorts to a sucker punch? If you have the guts, fight me fair and square!" Scott shouted, his anger boiling over.

Tyrone's expression stayed indifferent as he said casually, "Do you really think you can take me?"

"What are you two doing?" Mia exclaimed, utterly baffled. She quickly stepped between them, trying to break them apart.

"Mia, you saw it! He hit me first! Whose side are you on? Mine or his?" Scott demanded, putting her in a difficult position.

Mia felt trapped, unsure of what to do. Scott was her boyfriend, but Tyrone had always treated her kindly. No matter which side she chose, her conscience weighed heavily on her.

Tyrone noticed her hesitation and interjected, "Men should handle their own issues. Why are you trying to make her choose?"

"Fine, let's settle this, then!" Scott spat, raising his fists.

Tyrone was equally agitated. He stepped forward, ready for a confrontation.

Caught in the middle, Mia struggled to hold them back with her limited strength.

"What the hell is going on here?" Helen's voice rang out from the top of the stairs, halting both men in their tracks. "If you want to fight, take it outside! Don't cause trouble in my home!"

"But—" Mia hesitated, still unsure.

"If you want to leave, then go. But consider this: why hasn't Scott told you anything about his ongoing conflict with Tyrone? Does he really see you as his girlfriend?"

With that, Helen turned and walked into the room.

Mia felt a sudden clarity wash over her after hearing Helen's words. She realized how little she had truly understood about Scott's life lately.

Until today, she had assumed they were both stuck in equally mundane routines with nothing exciting to share. But the scene she had just witnessed made it clear that Scott's life was far from dull.

Outside the door, Tyrone and Scott stood at a standoff, their eyes locked in an intense glare. The air between them crackled with hostility.
