Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 950

"If you like it, we can come here to celebrate New Year's every year," said Bernard while holding Hera's hand.

Hera took a deep breath of the sea breeze. "Alright."

In the blink of an eye, it was time for the countdown. Everyone sat at the beach and counted down simultaneously. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one! Happy New Year!"

Immediately, the fireworks went off. The fireworks were colorful, lighting up the entire night sky. The bright sparks reflected on everyone's faces. All of them smiled happily.

After the fireworks dispersed, the words, "Happy New Year", appeared in the night sky.

"Woah! Mommy, it looks beautiful," shouted Dora while tugging at Hera.

Hera nodded. As she looked at the sky filled with fireworks, she recalled her 18th birthday. It had been this bright as well.

She couldn't conceal her smile. When she turned to look at Bernard, she met his deep gaze. He had been looking at her all this time.

Then, another round of beautiful fireworks went off. Bernard and Hera exchanged affectionate gazes under the fireworks. They looked at each other for a long time.

"Wow!"

"Happy birthday!"

Everyone suddenly exclaimed and wished a happy birthday. Hera returned to her senses. It was only then that she saw the words, "Happy Birthday", in the night sky.

Her family and friends gathered around her and said to her simultaneously, "Happy birthday!"

Hera looked around, and in the end, her gaze landed on Bernard again. Her heart was racing. Suddenly, her eyes started to water.

"Thank you!"

The fireworks went off again. This time, it showed the words, "Sweetie, will you marry me?"

Bernard put the ring on Hera's middle finger on her left hand before getting up. Then, he pulled her into a tight embrace. He couldn't help but spin her around happily.

"Thank you. Sweetie, I love you."

Hera wrapped her arms around his neck tightly. "I love you too."

"This time, you can't go back on your word again," whispered Bernard into her ear.

Five years ago, Bernard proposed marriage to Hera. But because something happened, she thought that she didn't know him well enough and gave him back the ring.

Now, after experiencing a separation that lasted five years and a reunion, Hera had confirmed her feelings for Bernard. She thought that she couldn't be with anyone but him in this life.

"I won't go back on my word!"
