Bernard walked closer and saw that Hera was cooking a steak. The steak turned out horrible. "Let me. This can't be eaten. I'll make another one for you."
"No, Dora gave this to me," responded Hera.
Bernard recalled Dylan and Dora giving Hera a present at noon, and Hera promised them that she would eat all of it, but looking at the steak, Bernard thought that it couldn't be rescued.
"Just tell them you've finished eating it. There's no need to make things difficult for yourself," said Bernard.
"I need to treat the kids sincerely." Then, Hera took out the cooked steak. Suddenly, she realized something. "Why are you back here?"
Bernard had a bad feeling. "If I don't come back here, where should I stay?"
Hera pointed in the direction of the east wing. "Go back to the room you're renting!"
"Sweetie, can't I stay here?" Bernard looked pitiful. Hera was finally discharged from the hospital, and he could finally sleep on the same bed as her. "I can warm the bed for you!"
Of course, Hera knew what his motive was. "No need!"
As Hera declined without hesitation, Bernard looked even more pitiful. However, when he thought about what he had done to her in the past, he thought that it was normal for her to still be angry.
"I'll leave after you finish eating and cleaning up. I want to taste the omelet Dora made for me." Bernard took out the lunchbox from the refrigerator and sat in front of Hera, glancing at her from time to time.
"Whatever." Based on her understanding of Bernard, Hera knew that he wouldn't leave in the end. Nevertheless, she didn't expose him. She took her time to finish the steak and omelet Dylan and Dora made.
The omelet Dylan made was alright. He was talented in cooking. But the steak Dora made was indescribable. After Hera finished eating the food, Bernard ate the last piece of the omelet Dora made with great difficulty. It was very sweet.
The next day, Dylan woke up early in the morning and sat in front of the laptop. He started to tinker with the laptop that Bernard had locked last night.
Before going to sleep last night, he thought of several methods to unlock it. After using all the methods, he still couldn't turn it on. At 7:00 am, the laptop automatically restarted and turned on.
Once the laptop was turned on, a code editor window popped up. Dylan needed to solve the code before being able to use the laptop.
He stubbornly tried to solve it for three days. When he realized he still couldn't solve the code, he went to Gino for help. "Can you help me check the code on my laptop?"
Gino took a look at the low code set in the code editor. Then, he frowned. "Was this set by Vulcan?"
"Vulcan?" Dylan thought that he had misheard it. Vulcan was the best hacker in the world!
