Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 783

"Tomorrow is the final deadline," a homeless man walked past Everly, reminding her.

She shivered in fear, holding herself tightly as she nervously stared at the man. He turned back and made a throat-slitting gesture, scaring her so much that she immediately scrambled to her feet and fled.

Night grew. With nowhere to go, Everly sat by the river, her stomach growling from hunger. She could only chew on some grass to stave off her hunger. Even when she lived in the mountains, she had never been as desperate as she was now. She hated it!

The money Catherine was about to give her was almost in her hands. It was all Hera's fault!

If Hera hadn't appeared, she would've had enough money to stay in a hotel by now! She wouldn't be out here, frightened and starving.

Hera was driving her into a corner!

Thinking about how she had lost her dignity and reputation, and was now covered in injuries, Everly's anger and resentment flared! It was like a raging fire, burning away every bit of her sanity.

It was all because of Hera! It was because of her that Everly had fallen into such a pitiful state. Since Hera was forcing her and wanted her dead, Everly decided she wouldn't hold back. She would do whatever it took to survive!

"Need some help?" A dark figure suddenly appeared behind her, startling her.

She turned around and grew excited upon recognizing the person. She quickly nodded. "Yes!"

Meanwhile, in the courtyard house, Hera couldn't sleep even though it was late at night.
