Chapter 284

Chapter 284

By the time Wesley arrived at the bar, Sana was already hopelessly drunk, collapsed in the booth like a rag doll.

Sir, here’s your girlfriend’s tab.The server handed him a printed receipt the moment he stepped through the door.

She’s not my girlfriend,” Wesley replied, sighing as he looked at the girl slumped over, reeking of alcohol.

He had just finished washing up and was working on a medical report at home when he received the unexpected call from the bar. The staff asked him to come pick her up, leaving him exasperated and mildly irritated.

The waiter gave him a confused look, as if about to say something, but before he could speak, Sana stirred.

She sat up unsteadily and threw herself at Wesley with a drunken lurch. Wesley!

He caught her instinctively, frowning down at her. Just tell me where you live. I’ll take you home.

He figured that since he was already here, dropping her off wouldn’t be too much trouble. After all, they were classmates.

He turned to fetch a towel from the bathroom to help her wash up!

But before he could take a single step, she grabbed his sleeve.

Don’t go. You can’t leave!

Sana sat up abruptly, her eyes glassy and red as she stared at him with an intensity that didn’t match her drunken state.

Stop it,Wesley said, brows furrowed, assuming she was simply being dramatic under the influence.

Instead, Sana burst into tears.

What now?he muttered, caught off guard.

Did I say something wrong?he wondered.

None of your business!she cried, voice breaking,

Wesley let out a sigh. Eine. I’m out of it. Just rest, alright?

He was beginning to realize that reasoning with her was pointless in her condition. She wasn’t even capable of basic conversation, let alone

understanding logic.

But his words only made her grip tighten, her voice rising with frustration. No! You have to care! You’re a psychologist, aren’t you? if you don’t care, who
