"Bro, why are you only selling her private photos for six dollars each? That's too cheap! Even the flower bouquets by the street sell for nine dollars a bunch!"
Kenton smirked, completely unapologetic.
"I just want everyone to know that Mia isn't worth more than a roadside flower. Isn't she fond of making Evelyn feel embarrassed? Then I'll make her even more embarrassed!"
Then he unlocked his phone.
The next moment, the phone blared with broken groans.
"I've got videos and audio recordings too. How about seven dollars per clip? Who wants some?"
My heart sank, and tears spilled uncontrollably.
No one knew better than me how those intimate, embarrassing sounds were made.
Waves of laughter kept coming from the pool party. I gritted my teeth so hard that the taste of blood filled my mouth and then I struggled to regain some clarity.
Kenton was the star rugby captain at our university, and I'd spent a long time to finally win his heart.
We'd been dating for four years. He was the perfect boyfriend in everyone's eyes, always putting me first.
But in bed, he had an extreme control fetish, making me wear all kinds of sexy outfits and challenging various physical limits.
To please him, I forced myself to accept all his unreasonable demands. I never imagined he'd secretly record everything and openly share it all!
Had his repeated declarations of love been just empty words?
I couldn't accept this enormous betrayal, stumbling backward in shock, only to fall to the ground because my legs gave out.
Then I heard the mocking laughter from inside the villa: "Mia is really making a fuss after getting what she wanted. If it weren't for Kenton considering the sibling relationship between Evelyn and him, she would never have gotten to be his girlfriend."
It felt like I'd been hit on the head, and my mind began to spin. My heart ached with pain, making it hard to breathe.
No wonder Kenton was so protective of Evelyn, always keeping her under his watch and preventing anyone from getting close to her.
So, it was because he had always harbored forbidden love for her, and I was just a cover he used to hide his true feelings.
