The sky was so overcast that it felt suffocating.
Inside Malcolm's villa, Scarlet sat silently in the study. Yet outside, the number of people being brought in kept growing. There was no doubt—nearly all of them were Myth Group employees, and every single one of them was a traitor.
When Fang arrived at the villa with Tyson in tow, more than 20 people were kneeling outside. The moment they saw Tyson, they immediately burst into tears, crying as if their lives depended on it.
"Mr. Lamb! It's Mr. Lamb! Please, Mr. Lamb, save us! Save us, Mr. Lamb!"
"Mr. Lamb, we're innocent! Please, you have to help us!"
Even though it was clear Tyson was in an even worse state than they were, in their eyes, he was still a figure of immense power and influence—especially now that he controlled Myth Group. Maybe, just maybe, he could save them. At them, Tyson was the only lifeline left.
Looking at these missing employees, Tyson felt a whirlwind of complicated emotions. He knew this was no small matter—this was serious, and they were likely in grave danger.
After being dragged into the room, Tyson immediately dropped to his knees. He stayed there obediently, not daring to get up.
Meanwhile, Fang entered the study, where Scarlet sat silently, and said softly, "Mr. Scarlet, the biggest traitor in Myth Group—Tyson Lamb—has been brought in. He's already confessed the names of everyone he knows who was involved. Here's the list for you to review."
With that, Fang handed the list to Scarlet.
Scarlet glanced at the list briefly, then smiled faintly. "I don't recognize these names, but judging by their titles, they're clearly significant figures. Fang, are you afraid?"
Tyson was kneeling and trembling uncontrollably in the hall. Scarlet approached him and calmly said, "So, it was you who betrayed Lense and caused him to be captured, correct?"
Tyson shuddered violently. Mistaking him for Nolan, he immediately kowtowed and pleaded, "Mr. Greene, I'm sorry. I was wrong. Please, spare my life! I-I had no choice! I was forced!"
Scarlet showed no intention of doing anything to him. He simply shook his head and explained, "I'm not Mr. Greene. My name is Scarlet, and I'm one of Mr. Greene's subordinates. So, there's no use begging me."
His gaze fell on Tyson's mangled, nailless fingers. "It seems Fang has already dealt with you. In that case, I won't torture you further. After all, I wouldn't want you to die before Mr. Greene arrives to vent his anger. Just stay alive, and you'd better pray that Lense is still alive as well."
After speaking, Scarlet glanced at the many Myth Group traitors kneeling outside and sighed. "To think there would be so many traitors. It's truly unexpected. But do you really believe that this is enough to recreate the Spirit of Life Serum?"
