Sharon was furious. "You want me to choose? Well, I choose for you to die. Why, you're nothing but a criminal, yet you dare to threaten me? Is this how you treat your sister-in-law?"
Once she was done shouting at Nolan, she turned to shout at her husband. "Niall, Are you just gonna stand there and let your brother bully me? How can you do nothing? Do you still see me as your wife? Or do you want to push me so far that I could have a heart attack and lose the baby? Fine, maybe I should just get rid of the baby now!"
Sharon started punching her stomach, as if she really didn't care whether the baby lived or died. Panicking, Niall immediately rushed up and wrapped his arms around her.
"What are you doing? No matter how angry you are, you shouldn't hurt the baby. Nolan has just gotten back. I'm sure he didn't mean what he said, so please calm down."
After that, he gave Nolan a look, signaling him to stop adding fuel to the fire and to speak more respectfully to Sharon.
Nolan narrowed his eyes at the hysterical Sharon and said lightly, "If you really want to get rid of the baby, then get rid of it. See if I care."
Even Niall thought Nolan had gone too far this time. "Nolan, what are you saying?"
"So, what are you trying to imply? Are you accusing me of stealing your family's money? Niall, can you in good conscience say that your family has money? I would like to steal some if that's true, but it's not. You better make your brother see how wrong he is. Otherwise, I'll kill myself right in front of you."
Niall took a deep breath and turned to look at Nolan with a forced smile. "Nolan, please stop talking. It's my own fault for being so useless and putting our parents in debt. If you want to blame someone, just blame me."
Seeing the helplessness and pain in Niall's eyes, Nolan couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for his honest and loyal older brother.
