Sharon became even more furious when she saw it was a stranger who had spoken to her that way.
"Who are you to butt into our family's business? Who let you in? Get out!"
Since Sharon married Niall only after Nolan went to prison, she didn't recognize the latter at all. Even if she had seen photos of Nolan before, she couldn't recall him. Moreover, the Nolan standing before her now was a completely different man from the one he was three years ago.
However, Niall immediately recognized his little brother. A look of happiness and surprise spread across his face. He quickly stepped forward and said, "Nolan, you're back! Come in, come in. Have a seat."
He grabbed Nolan's hand and scanned him up and down with an expression full of genuine concern. "Nolan, you've lost weight. You must have been through a lot. But it's okay now—you're back. From here on out, we'll do things the right way, and everything will get better."
Nolan flashed him a genuine smile. "Hey Niall, I'm doing just fine. But you, you look a lot more worn down."
Niall was only a few years older than Nolan; he was in his early 30s, yet he looked like someone in his 40s. If he claimed to be doing well, Nolan would be the first to doubt it. Moreover, the fresh bloodstains on Niall's face were still clearly visible.
Niall let out a dry laugh. "Well, I am getting on with age, so it's normal to look more worn out. Let's stop talking here and go inside."
Nolan looked Niall straight in the eyes and asked seriously, "Niall, do you trust me?"
Niall nodded without hesitation. "Of course, you're my brother. Who should I trust if not you?"
Nolan guffawed loudly and hugged Niall. "Good, very good. Then leave everything to me. Don't worry, I'll make sure she pays for all the suffering she's given you this past few years."
After that, Nolan took a step forward and stared icily at Sharon. "I'll give you one chance. Remember, only one chance. I'll let you leave this place alive if you kneel down and apologize to Niall for all the things you did to him over the years. Otherwise. I'll make sure not only you, but your entire family, suffer a fate worse than death. I'll make each and every one of you pay. Now, choose."
