The Luna Marked with Lies The Queen Crowned novel Chapter 112

Chapter 112

Without waiting for a response, I turned on my heel and got into my car.

The drive back to the pack house was a blur, my mind racing with thoughts I couldn’t control.

By the time I arrived, I felt numb, the cold reality of the situation settling over me like a heavy blanket.

As I walked into the house, I noticed immediately that the group photo on the wall had been taken down.

It was a small detail, but it felt like the final nail in the coffin.

Leo had erased every trace of what we once were, leaving nothing but emptiness in its place.

I stood in the living room, staring at the blank space on the wall where the photo had once hung.

How could everything have changed so drastically in just one night?

The night was already late, the darkness outside pressing in on me from all sides.

The moonlight filtered through the windows, casting an eerie glow across the room.

I sat down on the couch, feeling utterly lost.

Minutes turned into hours, and I sat there, staring blankly into the darkness.

I didn’t even notice when a figure entered the room, his footsteps soft on the wooden floor.

It wasn’t until he was standing in front of me that I looked up, my eyes meeting Narik’s concerned gaze.

“What are you doing here so late at night, Elizabeth?”

Narik’s voice was gentle, a stark contrast to the harsh words I had exchanged with Leo earlier.

I managed a weak smile, though it didn’t reach my eyes.

“Couldn’t sleep.”

Narik sat down beside me, his presence comforting in a way I hadn’t expected.

“Had a fight with him?”

I nodded, not trusting myself to speak.

The pain was still too raw, the wound too fresh.

He hesitated for a moment before asking, “Because of what? Does it have anything to do with me?”

His question caught me off guard, and for a moment, I didn’t know how to respond.

But then the words came tumbling out, and I told him everything–what Leo had done, what he had said to me.

Narik listened quietly, his expression a mix of shock and concern.

When I finished, he reached out and gently took my hand, his touch warm and reassuring.

If I had been the one to meet you first, Elizabeth, I would never have let you get so upset.

I looked at him, trying to gauge the sincerity in his words.

But all I could see was that same gentle, concern, the same warmth that had always been there.

Stop joking around, Narik,I said, though my voice lacked the usual bite.

“Leo must have had some kind of misunderstanding when he acted like that. Although he’s an impulsive bastard, I can tell that he really loves you. He cares about you a lot.”

Misunderstanding?”
