The Lady Nun Seeks Justice (Eliza Stonor) novel Chapter 524

Korneel smiled slightly, saying. “A woman with such abilities is hardly an ordinary woman.”

He said this with a pause before asking. “What do you think of her master?”

“Not much,” Rikkert shook his head. “From her footwork, she’s clearly trained in martial arts, but that’s about it. She might have done it just for fitness.”

“But from what I saw, you seemed quite cautious around her. Why is that?” Komealad already sensed Pikkert’s unease, so he pressed further.

Rikkert frowned. “My instincts tell me she’s carrying something extremely dangerous. If you plan to make a move, you need to be careful”

“Extremely dangerous?” Korneel mused, intrigued by this statement.

He then raised his hand and lifted the tea cup placed on the stone table. As he tipped it, a strange, dark green parasite slid out into the open.

Korneel stared at the parasite for a long moment, before muttering, “The King Parasite is unaffected”

That meant whatever she was carrying was not a parasite.

What could it be, then?

While still contemplating, Korneel tossed the King Parasite to Rikkert, instructing. “Though we lost one, it doesn’t matter.

Take this and check the others.”

“Understood.” Rikkert caught the parasite and walked towards the other doctors in the courtyard. He signaled to the

assassins.

They immediately grabbed one of the men and dragged him in front of Rikkert.

“Please, let me go. I really don’t know anything!”

The middle–aged doctor was terrified, his knees trembling, but Rikkert and his men showed no mercy.

Grabbing the doctor by the head, Rikkert placed the King Parasite near his ear.

In an instant, the parasite reacted as if it had received an order, and it crawled directly into the doctor’s ear.

“No…!” The agonized screams echoed throughout the courtyard.

The remaining men shook in fear, some even fainting from terror.

But even they couldn’t escape.

Tina, what do you think of that man’s skills?”

After leaving the mansion, Eliza asked Tina the same question Korneel had posed earlier.

Tina thought for a moment, then responded, “Impressive.”

Tina recalled the brief, flickering look the guard had given her earlier when sizing her up. “Because he’s overly proud.”

After leaving the alley, Eliza led everyone to Vaughn’s Healing Hall.

Upon arriving, Vaughn immediately relaxed.

However, Eliza didn’t sit down right away.

She instructed her insects to search the entire Healing Hall.

Vaughn, still puzzled by Eliza’s movements, watched as she circled around the room, releasing insects and dragging out people.

Soon, three bodies and several dead insects were added to the hall.

The insects were not ordinary bugs. Their serrated edges looked terrifying. One bite from them would surely cause intense pain.

Vaughn wiped his cold sweat, the dampness from his sleeves now soaked with anxiety.

Fortunately, the search didn’t uncover too much. Soon, Eliza sat down across from him.

Without any preamble, she got straight to the point, “I was sent by Hubert’s daughter. In his letter, he asked her not to leave Hasen City, so I’ve come to retrieve Hubert. You know where he is, don’t you?”
