He glared at the Nightveil, only to see the latter glaring back at him. Understanding what that glare meant, he quickly collected himself, knelt down, and bowed his head.

The Tandris soldiers who were still conscious all knelt down and bowed their heads in front of the Vampire hovering above them.

What surprised everyone even further was the fact that instead of piercing this man’s body with all those weapons around her, that dreadful woman smiled back.

"You are doing this on purpose, aren’t you?"
