When business concluded, the two resumed their jog and since it was already too much exercise in the morning, Diamond was ready to return and have her shower. She still had another appointment she set with James, the manager who sold her the buildings the other day.
Kisha bid Diamond goodbye when Diamond arrived at her villa. Since Kisha’s villa was just ahead of hers; Diamond bid her goodbye as well.
When Diamond entered the villa, the fragrance of food welcomed her and a smile blossomed on her face.
Aunt Janet was awake. That’s what she deciphered as soon as that fragrance hit her.
Surely the middle-aged woman was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast while she hummed a song that Diamond had never heard of before.
Not wanting to disturb her, Diamond quietly took the stairs as she headed for her room.
Ever since she received that heavenly divine martial art, Diamond’s body felt light as a feather and it’s only been a day.
She couldn’t help but wonder just what more miracles would happen as more days passed.
Ruby was probably still asleep and since the two sisters stayed on two different floors; she didn’t know what her younger sister was up to.
And since there was no problem with not knowing what Ruby was up to, as they were both in the same house that was under the supervision of a hard-working Andrea, Diamond happily went to her bedroom.
Diamond had already spread the bed and the smart robots were busy humming as they roamed to all corners of the room.
It’s been a while since she stopped Aunt Janet from cleaning her room. Since her sister couldn’t even freely enter her room, why would a stranger enter easily like that?
Besides, she knew how to do her chores, and spreading the bed wasn’t that hard. However, for the cleaning part, she was too lazy to do that, so she purchased some home-cleaning robots that took care of that job for her.
So, while the robots finished cleaning, Diamond went to her spacious bathroom, where she soaked her body in the tub and took a while to freshen up.
After the bath, Diamond, who was again using the excuse of checking real estate, wasn’t planning to go to work.
So, she didn’t wear any formal suits or clothes but simply picked a pair of green jeans she found unique when she was buying in that Bormuga shop in Srad with a white crop top plus a matching jacket that came with the jeans.
She looked very green, but she loved it.
It was nature that gave her the current blessings she was flaunting around and thinking about nature. Another crazy idea bobbed in her mind.
As she walked out of the bedroom holding a black-and-white striped half-moon bag with just her phone and cardholder in it, a playful smile graced her face.
Diamond made it in time to the dining room, where she found Ruby, who was wearing something formal. And Ruby’s visage truly shocked her.
She couldn’t help but ask as soon as they were done exchanging greetings. "What is the occasion today?"
As it was a Friday, Diamond was completely clueless as to what occasion her younger sister was attending, especially when she was working at the foundation that she owned.
Ruby chuckled upon seeing her sister’s confusion, but she still responded, as she didn’t want Diamond to be clueless like that.
"Big sister, don’t you check your emails?" Ruby helplessly asked as she looked at the dumbfounded expression of her sister.
"Email. What email?" Diamond asked, confusingly.
Although she didn’t like going to the office, she always checked her emails. Andrea, her newly adopted son, would always read them to her. So how could she miss an email?
"You didn’t get it?" Ruby, seeing her sister’s confused state, asked seriously, wanting to know the answer.
After all, there was no way she would play dump like that when it concerned the foundation.
"I don’t remember seeing any email from the foundation yesterday regarding any formal event," Diamond replied as she looked at her little sister with a questioning gaze.
Realizing that someone might have made a mistake, Ruby couldn’t help but fear for that person as to how Diamond might deal with her or him. However, that wasn’t the issue at the moment. She just needed to let her sister know what was going on, as she couldn’t be left out of the loop.
"Something must have happened, I guess. I am part of the team that is going to ***** orphanage home. We will be having a meeting with the officials there."
The two sisters ate their food unhurriedly, and once they were done, they left the villa separately once again. fr.e ewe.bno.vel .com
