The next day, Diamond as usual woke up to her daily routine, which was to have a morning jog around the court.
And unlike the previous morning when she didn’t see anyone, she got lucky and managed to bump into a person she had not seen in a very long time.
When she was having her second lap, she saw Kisha; the celebrity, getting out of her villa wearing her exercise gear.
Seeing the celebrity, she barely saw on television as she was so busy at times that she couldn’t even watch dramas. She was amazed.
Kisha was a beautiful woman and one who probably knew how to take care of herself pretty well.
However, with technology nowadays, she wasn’t sure whether Kisha was still her original self or she had cosmetic surgery.
The entertainment industry was a tough one. And if a woman doesn’t take care of herself and upgrade, it wouldn’t be a shock if she were to be soon forgotten, as if she never existed.
However, a woman with a pretty face and skills to top it up would survive a bit longer unless she met an unformidable opponent who meant serious business.
And thinking about cosmetic surgeries, Diamond couldn’t help but think of something. She had given Cecilia her creams before, but she had never given one to Kisha.
Since Kisha knew a lot of female celebrities, it wouldn’t hurt to give her a bottle and make her bring more people in the future to her.
"Good morning, Diamond!" Kisha greeted her the second she came to the road.
Diamond slowed down as she flashed a smile at Kisha before responding, "Good morning to you too, Kisha. How have you been?"
"It’s been pretty hectic. I am glad that I can now finally rest!" Kisha tiredly responded as she caught up to Diamond.
Upon hearing that, Diamond felt a bit ashamed.
Some people were busy working their asses off to better their lives while she was busy going around everywhere, leaving all the work for other people.
But on second thoughts she corrected herself.
’I am the boss, aren’t I supposed to work how I want?’ she thought again.
"But it should be worth it, right?" Diamond curiously asked.
For celebrities like Kisha, when they were not shooting shows, dramas, series, or movies, they would be having photoshoots and something like that.
And all of that screamed money. How could one just work extra hard without incentives?
Kisha, who was finally jogging alongside Diamond, answered, "Umm, this time I did myself proud."
"That’s great to hear. As long as you see it’s worth, then nothing else matters."
The two went silent after that and ran half a lap in complete silence, and just when Diamond thought that it was going to remain that way, Kisha started a new topic.
"Oh, Diamond! I hope you don’t mind me asking about this, but did you perhaps sell Cecilia somebody cream some time ago?" Kisha asked as she turned her head to look at Diamond. fre eweb\(n)ovel(.)co(m)
Diamond, who was busy scolding herself inwardly for acting cowardly once again and failing to raise the cream issue to Cecilia, suddenly stopped in her tracks, forcing Kisha, who was now a step ahead to stop as well.
"Did I ask something that I shouldn’t have asked?" Cecilia worriedly asked upon seeing Diamond’s actions.
When Diamond heard the last question, she nearly gave her face a strong slap, but she held it in as she quickly calmed herself down before facing Kisha with the friendliest smile she could think of.
"No, no, it’s not like that. I just wasn’t expecting you to ask me that," with a soft chuckle Diamond replied.
Kisha sighed with relief when she heard Diamond’s answer.
She thought that she had asked something confidential and that maybe Diamond didn’t want anyone to know.
