{Mother, I have looked into the resumes sent by the applicants. I have sorted the applicants I think are the best. Please take a look at them!} Andrea informed Diamond as she sat on the bed with several clothes scattered on the bed.

Diamond hummed as she scrolled the tablet’s screen, already clicking on the folder newly sent.

It’s been a while since she posted the recruitment notice for the position of cinematographer. She received a lot of applications, but because she was busy with her family, she couldn’t look into the matter personally. So, she had Andrea do that for her.

It was the day of departure, but with time remaining before leaving home for the airport, she couldn’t help but want to do some work first.

She looked through the resumes as well as the background information of the applicants picked. There were ten of them with six foreigners and four locals. Their experience was rich, and it got her greedy.

Anyway, after looking at the ten, she decided to add them to the other applicants, who still awaited another round of interviews. She would see who was capable of being recruited once the final interviews were done.

After looking into the recruits, she resumed with her packing and after a moment, only the outfit that she was going to wear was remaining.

After ten minutes or so, Diamond was ready, and the bag was packed. She pulled her bag out of the tidied room and carried it downstairs, where she found her parents seated and waiting for her.

"You are done?" Ma Perry asked as she looked at her.

Diamond nodded as she put the bag aside before joining the two.

"Yep. Everything is ready!" she smilingly said as she looked at the heartfelt breakfast waiting to be eaten.

Ma Perry dotingly smiled at Diamond before urging, "Okay, now let’s eat. You have a flight to catch!"

Diamond stuck her tongue playfully at her mother before pulling her plate over to her side.

The family of three had a wonderful breakfast moment, which was very harmonious and quite pleasing.

After breakfast, Ma Perry brought over several large bags from the kitchen and patted her hands, saying, "Bring these with you! You give the others to Ruby and Garnet. I bought a lot of local delicacies."

Diamond smiled helplessly when she saw the many things her mother bought. Didn’t she know that they didn’t lack anything?

Nonetheless, a smile blossomed on her face as she waved her hands, taking all the bags into her storage ring. Mothers never go wrong. Moreover, that was her mother’s love, so why not take it?

When everything else was sorted out, the three left the villa with bodyguards tailing them. The journey to the airport was filled with endless laughter and stories. They got to the airport on time.

After helping Diamond check-in, Ma and Pa Perry bid farewell to Diamond before leaving her there.

When it was time, the plane took off and flew to Frin City, where Diamond was picked up by Admire at the airport before being driven to the Cherry Court Villa.

When they go there, she gives Admire another bottle of pills and encourages him to train the guards. She also promised to check the progress in the future. So, he had more work to do.

After sending him off, Diamond let Auntie Janet organize the goodies she came back with from Taco Town while setting aside those of Ruby and Garnet.

While that was happening, she took the PIA from the garage and drove out.

Diamond had one purpose for going out instead of resting at home _ picking up Ivy.

When she drove the PIA, the car turned onto the main road where several construction cars could be seen.

Seeing them, a smile blossomed on her face as she thought about something _ the house was being constructed.

Work had already started on the ancestral home. She hadn’t seen what exactly was going on there, but whatever it was, Diamond had confidence in Dahlia. She was a super butler and someone sent to oversee the project. How could it ever go wrong?

Diamond didn’t drive in the direction of the CBD but opposite, as if she was heading towards the road which divide her land from the neighbor. However, she passed that road and drove a bit further before she got to another gravel road where she turned after making sure that there were no other living beings there.

As soon as she got there, she alighted from the car and summoned Ivy, whom she had been itching to see for a very long time.

As soon as she did so, a familiar scene. She was reminded of the time when Garnet made her appearance.

When Ivy appeared, she knelt on one knee with her hand above her chest as she swore allegiance.

"Hello, mistress. I am Ivy and I am here to serve you!"

Diamond didn’t care much about the extra words, but listening to them at times made her happy for no reason.
