Diamond didn’t know how long she climbed, and how much time was spent on doing so, but after her body hurt and ached like it was going to be torn apart, the fairy’s voice sounded in her ears.
"This is it!" she exclaimed in excitement.
When she heard that, Diamond’s fatigue all disappeared as she stopped in her tracks, looking around to see the place where the fairy was talking about.
She didn’t look around for long as she found herself looking at an odd bush a few meters away from where she was standing.
Looking at the odd bush, her expression went grim, as she felt cheated. She turned her head to look at the fairy with fury rising in her and exploded, "Fairy, don’t tell me. I climbed all the way to look at a damn odd bush?" she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
If it was something other than a damn bush, then maybe she would deliberate and wonder what was going on but a bush, what kind of treasure was that?
This time, the fairy didn’t bother to exchange words with Diamond, but merely proved herself with actions.
Diamond watched the fairy, ignoring her, and almost exploded once again. However, when the fairy touched the bush and pulled it out, a strange phenomenon happened.
"Creak!"
"Squeak!"
Suddenly, the sound of something very strong, perhaps a stone moving sounded loudly. She couldn’t help but look in the direction where the noise was coming from.
When Diamond saw the mountain splitting, no, opening and revealing a cave mouth, her mouth opened wide and her jaws nearly dropped to the ground.
’What the heck was that?’
Even the fairy was looking in the direction of the cave with her eyes sparkling with interest.
Whatever was in the cave, it was probably something good, and Diamond felt all the suffering was worth it.
When it comes to treasures, Diamond wasn’t one to be pushed.
She hurriedly sped towards the mouth, making the fairy to shake her head helplessly.
"She is just like her predecessor!" she said, in her mind resurfacing a memory of her former mistress.
If they weren’t from different worlds, she would have thought that they were from the same bloodline. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Diamond was just one blessed child who found the favor of some unknown deity.
Diamond didn’t know what the fairy was thinking about as by now, she was already in the cave, exploring it.
What she loved about the Golden Space was how it would never harm her. There wasn’t anything harmful or traps laid for her anywhere. The place was hers, so why should she suffer so much to get what was left for her?
So, exploring the cave was more of a breeze than climbing the mountain.
Diamond realized as she explored that the cave had one wide path which then divided into two after walking for several meters.
It reminded her of the secret passages under her Radiant Manor in Dielas City.
Without any fear, she picked one passage to explore first and while doing so, the fairy joined her.
"What do you think is hiding here?" Diamond excitedly asked as she looked at the fairy.
