Diamond turned around to look at her beautiful little sister with pride in her eyes.
Ruby was quick to sense her sister’s gaze on her, so she smiled at the other before greeting her.
Diamond returned the greeting and sat there with a smile on her face as she listened to her family competing with one another.
After seeing that porridge was almost cooked, Diamond excused herself and went to her bedroom where she took a shower and wore a skort, a crop top and a pair of slip-ons.
She sprayed some cologne and applied some balm before heading downstairs for breakfast.
When she arrived, she found her father and Ruby already seated in the dining room while her mother was bringing the food to the table.
Diamond joined the others, and shortly the food was on the table. Meals were important moments for the family. Everyone gathers together, shares a meal and just chat.
After finishing breakfast, Ruby volunteered to do the plates once again, and Diamond pulled her parents to the lounge.
"Is there something that you want to tell us?" upon seeing the way Diamond was acting, Belinda suspected. f|ree(w)ebn\o.vel.com
"Um. I just talked to the guys and one of them said that he would come around the 28th of this month. The other one, I still need to confirm with his schedule, but I think he might join us next year," Diamond told her parents.
"By them, you mean your lovers?" Belinda asked in confirmation as she looked at Diamond without shifting her gaze.
Diamond smiled at her mother, happy inwardly upon seeing how she didn’t use a scary, intimidating and disgusted tone when she asked.
"Um. You said that you wanted to meet them, so I told them," Diamond answered her mother smilingly.
"Oh! Big sister! They are really coming?" Ruby asked excitedly from the kitchen.
"Yep. They are!" just thinking about it, Diamond was on cloud nine.
She was probably the only person in Athary with a lot of guts to bring her two lovers’ home.
Belinda sighed with relief when she heard that.
"Okay, I guess we need to prepare two extra guest bedrooms then," Belinda said as she leaned back into the sofa.
Richard didn’t say anything, but the smile on his face was enough for Diamond to know that he was planning something dangerous.
Which father would love to see the cabbage he had painstakingly raised being snatched by other people?
"Sister, you haven’t told us about your men. Can you give us some information? This way, we won’t be clueless when they come!" Ruby pleaded as she appeared in the lounge.
Diamond looked at her family members and when she saw that curiosity and anticipation in their eyes, she knew that it was going to be a long morning but one she was going to enjoy.
At least she wanted to let her family know that her choice was great.
"Okay, let me start from the start and tell you how wonderful your sons-in-law are. And have I told you that I found you two with one surname?" she asked teasingly as she chuckled.
Upon hearing the last part, Richard, who had done his best to maintain his cool earlier, was shaken.
He looked stunned at Diamond and couldn’t help but ask, even though he was planning on letting his wife go wild with the questions.
"Dear. Are they brothers or relatives?" Richard asked as he clasped his hands together.
Diamond smiled as she looked at her father.
"I got lucky and got myself identical twins, hehe," she chuckled happily as she observed her family’s reactions.
"OMG! Sister, how in the world did you even meet those?" Ruby exclaimed in surprise, shocked by what her sister did.
Seeing everyone that curious, Diamond decided to satisfy their curiosity, and surely, they were sated.
Who would have thought that people could still meet in such expected ways?
Of course, Diamond removed some intense parts. No matter what, she didn’t want her parents to look at her weirdly. She had, after all, schemed to get Sullivan, although the other had designs on her already.
If it wasn’t for her, she doubted if Sullivan would have slept with her that night, but for the sake of catching both brothers and making them hers; she ended up doing it.
Fortunately, Sullivan took the blame since she had pretended to have been drunk that night, thereby bagging the second twin as hers.
Diamond only had photos of the twins, so she showed them to her family. She also shared with them about what they do and the more they heard, the more awed they became.
Seeing her father smiling and nodding his head unconsciously when she was telling them about what they do and everything, Diamond knew that her father had approved of them.
Although she didn’t want other people to judge her wrongly and try to instil what they thought was right for her, she still wanted her family to accept her lovers wholeheartedly.
