Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 1934

Remy smiled and said, “I won’t blame Mrs. Stone. She is worried and can’t bear to part with you. It’s because I haven’t done enough and not well enough to make her feel at ease about entrusting you to me.

“I will keep trying my best.”

As the two got in the car, Remy asked her, “Where do you want to eat?”

“I’ll eat wherever you take me.”

Remy smiled, she trusted him completely.

He started the car and drove away.

Elisa said again, “After we eat, can you accompany me to Wiltspoon School? Seren and Jasmine’s bookstore has recently opened. Jasmine is bored at home, and the market is far from the city. Josh won’t let her go to the market, so she opened the bookstore early.”

Jasmine, the gem of the Sox family, would even go back to the bookstore to pass time, even if there was not much business. She would visit other stores every day to chat.

“Okay,” he replied.

“Josh and Julian are cousins and have a good relationship. Perhaps Josh knows why he did this. Once he knows, Jasmine will do too.”

Elisa could not feel at ease without understanding Julian’s motives.

“Josh may not know about this.”

Remy said while driving, “Julian may not let Josh know about this. Don’t ask Ms. Sox directly. Just ask Julian if there have been any recent developments, but do it subtly.”

Elisa thought for a moment and said, “I wonder who asked Julian to interfere.”

Remy thought deeply for a moment and said, “Mr. Reading seems to have been absent for some time.”

This amused and troubled Julian at the same time.

Faced with a crazy father who was trying to save his son, Julian did not even dare to speak with an eighty-year-old lady for fear his father might arrange a blind date with the old lady.

He only dared to look at girls below the age of five.

He would not even look at anyone older than that.

There was a time when Julian saw a cute girl around the age of seven. He continued to look because she was really cute. The girl noticed him and called him “uncle”. Julian responded with a smile. Somehow, his father found out about it.

Not three days later, his father brought the girl to the Buchams’ mansion. He talked to Julian, and let Julian take her in as a child bride, giving Julian a headache.

That bullsh*t psychic once said that his destined woman would call him “uncle”. As the destined lady and Julian were ten years apart in age, it sounded reasonable for her to call him “uncle”.
