Chapter 0259
Gavin’s POV
“Why are you avoiding going home?” Taylor asked, sitting in the seat in front of my desk.
“Why do you think?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at my Bela
He shrugged.
“It’s been over a week, and you are barely there,” Taylor said. “Is it because of Judy?”
I furrowed my brows.
I
“What? No, of course not,” I said shaking my head. “Why would I be avoiding Judy?”
“Because you hadn’t been seeing her as often as you normally did,” Taylor said, a sly smile creeping along his lips. “You can deny it all you want, but I know you go to the other mansion to see her. You’ve been sleeping with her ever since that gala. I was there, remember? You kicked me out of the car so you could fool around.”
I sighed and leaned back in my chair.
“I’m not avoiding her. I am keeping her at a distance though. Irene made it clear that she didn’t want me to see Judy.”
“So, you’re doing this because Irene said so?” Taylor asked.
“I’m doing this out of respect for my family,” I replied. “Judy knows my kids come first. I assure you, there’s no hard feelings.”
“And you’re sure about that?”
I was quiet for a moment, thinking about the look on Judy’s face every time I canceled plans these last couple of weeks. My chest tightened at the thought of her disappointment. I told Taylor my reasoning was because of Irene but that wasn’t the full truth. Sure, Irene made things a bit more difficult these last couple of weeks, but I could manage it.
My main concern was Levi Churchill being in my pack.

So Spencer was “in love” before he even meet her? I used to wake up and read this book but now I let days go past before I read the chapters...
Well heres to the next 300 pages of this never ending story because now Gavin is going to have to save her before Spencer does something even more stupid because Judy is to weak to do anything for herself apparently....
3 chapters we didn't need. Already guessed Spencer was working with Levi and that the attacks were also Levi...
I think of all the things that bother me the most about the rushed writing is the inconsistencies. Judy and Nans room number was initially 606 when they checked in at the island resort for the Gamma Competition, but then was suddemly 906 - which turned out to be needed information later. When they first met, Judy went to Gavin's office the next day and told him about her father's imprisonment and her need for money, but then later the author made it sound like Gavin had no idea. She won 5 million for takimg first in the competition but then it was eluded to her not have much money and needed cash from the additional tutoring job with Lukas and the position in Levi's elite force. Honestly, the wishy-washy writing makes it feel like Gavin is less of a strong leader and more like he has so much personal drama he cant keep anything straight. It feels like Judy is weaker than the author has intended, as well. I feel like Rachel's return could have been tightened up with more details around her time Gavin instead of making Judy out to be a bit pathetic and desperate for just a sliver of Gavins attention. Her pregnancy was also disappointing because of the rushed plot, the author seemed to have forgotten that Judy gave her virginity to Gavin and no other sexual partners were introduced for her - so who the father of her baby was shouldn't have felt like such a surprise - it felt a bit insulting to her vibe and the character build throughout the hundreds of unnecessary chapters. I believe if the author spent a little more time and cleaned up some of the events with pertinent and necessary details and remove the oddities of over-the-top pieces (like the shower gel and cologne that appeared out of nowhere for Gavin in Judy's condo) this storyline could really be something great and intriguing for readers....

You can tell this book was written by a man trying to think like a woman. There are so many plot holes and loose ends. They’re clearly dragging it on way more than they should as a money grab. And now we’re in for probably 50 more chapters while they hunt her down. I’m sure someone will end up drugged and SA’d by the end of it. So frustrating that we’re reading in circles. I’m out....
Same! Short chapters going backwards now!...
Is he a spy though? or is this gonna be a Fatal attraction? He wants to mark her for himself, & she's going to have to try to escape.. but dies she have her wolf still, i forget...
Girl Im dropping this shit 🥰...
I cannot read this anymore; and these short chapters that doesn’t even give anything concrete. How ridiculous!...
