Back in Eurasia, Bowen and Kristoff were at a mansion by the beach. They convened at the venue with the subordinates and were engaged in a discussion with a woman in red.
The middle-aged woman had large curls flowing down her neck. Her features were exquisite despite her age. On a closer look, one might find her forbidding and cold. Her eyes were especially cruel.
No one would be surprised to find out that she was actually Hades' daughter.
Neither Kristoff nor Bowen seem disturbed that they did not know her name.
It was perceived that everyone from the Gates of Hell did not have any names. They usually just went with code names. As for Hades' daughter, they simply referred to her as Red Spider.
Given the fact that she was second in authority after Hades in the Gates of Hell, Kristoff was especially courteous to her.
“Red Spider,” he said carefully, “I wonder if your father is in Eurasia already?”
“My father and his men will be here shortly,” she replied coldly.
Kristoff laughed nervously. “I'm sure this will be the end of Eurasia's God of War.”
“Why use the sharpest tool for a menial job? I'll take care of this on my own. My father can just sit back and wait for results.”
Bowen and Kristoff eyed each other quickly.
“But I thought Hades is already on his way here?” Kristoff asked eagerly.
Red Spider was less worked up. She took up the glass of champagne in front of her and took a sip. “You probably have no idea,” she said slowly, looking at the lipstick stain on her glass, “but the Fallen Angel was my lover.”
What?
The two men glanced at each other again. What did she just say?
“Red Spider, don't tell me you're here to deliver justice on your own accord. Are you going to kill God of War before Hades arrives?”
After leaving the mansion, Red Spider went toward her red Ferrari. “So,” she asked, turning to her subordinate, “did you find out where Nathan is?”
Her men were quiet. Before long, a man with a ponytail answered her question with his head low. “We can't seem to put a finger on his whereabouts. We tried hacking many websites to find out more about him, but we found nothing substantial.”
People from the Gates of Hell had no idea that Nathan was actually Eurasia's Chief Military Governor. All information about him was classified. The military security department would regularly look out for leaked information and delete them in a timely fashion.
This was why these people were unable to get any information about Nathan.
Red Spider was clearly unhappy about their report. She stopped right in front of her car and glared at the group of people.
“We don't have any worthwhile information about him,” the man swiftly added, “but we do know that his wife is Cross Corporation's chairman. From what we gathered, he cares deeply for her. I'm sure he will show himself if we get our hands on this woman.”
Red Spider cracked her knuckles. “Make sure you report the most important stuff first. There's no next time unless you're eager to see your resting place.”
Her words sparked fear among her men.
