Salute To The General (Nathan Cross) novel Chapter 2268

Rapid footsteps broke the brief silence after the fight.

Thomas had brought a group of his men to come to the rescue.

“General!”

“I'm fine, Thomas. This man is from the Gates of Hell. I need you to get rid of his body.”

“Sure, Mr. Cross.”

Johannes was in for another shock. He's the God of War?

He remembered how he made fun of Nathan back at the restaurant and secondhand fear, but there was actually no need for such worries.

Nathan was not even thinking about settling any score with Johannes.

“Go to the hospital to get treated if you have no other business here. Make sure you keep your mouth shut about what happened here,” he warned.

“Y-Yes, General! I will not breathe a word to anyone!”

Nathan left everything to Thomas and departed with his family and Ava.

Penny and Kylie were still feeling fidgety even after they got home, but Nathan had no time to talk to them yet.

He called Colin into his study and asked him to get to the bottom of the incident earlier. He wanted to know who hired the assassin from the Gates of Hell.

“I'll look into this.”

Who dares put a bounty on my head?

Meanwhile, Kristoff was also busy contacting the Gates of Hell.

He had heard that I lades had been undefeatable over the past twenty years.

Kristoff did not expect Hades to get involved himself. He must have decided to take things into his own hands because of the God of War.

“I'm glad Hades is doing it himself this time. I’ll await your good news.”

Over at the base of the Gates of Hell, three hundred assassins had congregated under Hades' command.

Hades sat on the black throne, looking down loftily at the whole hall of men. “Contract killers are illegal in Eurasia, but we're going over nonetheless. Our target was once the God of War of that country, so we need to be careful. We need to lie low so we don't attract unnecessary attention.”

“Yes, Sir!” everyone replied in unison.

“Disperse into small groups so y'all go unnoticed. Take different means of transport to go to Eurasia if possible. I'll meet all of you once I reach the country. We will coordinate our action after that.” “Yes!”
