Chapter 78
The red wine dripped down her chin, mostly landing on her
expensive little dress.
Red, yellow, wine taste, mustard taste, pepper taste, etc. mixed
together, just make this multi–layered taste more nauseating.
“You! I’ll make sure you never set foot in the Pierce’s place
again!” Amanda pointed at her, stomping her foot and
threatening harshly.
Adelaide smirked and said, “Oh, great, I’m looking forward to
this good news.”
It’s best if it worked out.
That way, she could let bygones be bygones and give a flower basket worth 999 dollars at her and Garrett’s wedding.
Faced with her indifferent attitude, Amanda was always at a loss for words. It felt like emotions couldn’t be expressed, so
uncomfortable.
“You!”
“Can I get you some more food?” Adelaide asked, speaking softly but with a piercing gaze.

Amanda instinctively stepped back.
Adelaide sneered, turned around, grabbed her coat, and walked
out of the private room.
The manager was waiting outside all the time. When Adelaide
came out, before she could say thank you, she noticed a
handsome man standing next to the manager with a smiling
face.
“Hello,” Kyson greeted first, “I am the owner of Kirby
Restaurant.”
As soon as she heard it was the boss, Adelaide couldn’t help but
feel a bit nervous, “Hello, about this matter…”
Kyson raised his hand, interrupting her, and said reasonably,
“The manager has already explained the situation to me. It’s not
your fault, Ms. Pierce. But there was still an unpleasant dining experience at our restaurant, so I thought of giving Ms. Pierce some corresponding compensation.”
Adelaide was pleasantly surprised, “No need, no need, the manager already said it’s on the house. Actually, there’s no need for it to be on the house, because the whole thing was aimed at me. I should be the one apologizing to your restaurant, for affecting your business.“”
“If our waiter didn’t take money privately, the food wouldn’t

have been tampered with. So, there were indeed some
management issues on our part,” Kyson took out a membership
card, “Ms. Pierce, please take this. Otherwise, I won’t have a
clear conscience and will lose sleep.”
“……um.”
Adelaide always felt something was off.
The manager approached Adelaide and whispered, “Ms. Pierce,
please understand our boss, he really has insomnia.”
“Is this a question about insomnia?”
“Ms. Pierce,” Kyson smiled sincerely, “if you don’t like carrying a
membership card, how about I just set up a membership
account for you, load it with a few tens of thousands, that
way…”
“Thanks,” Adelaide took the membership card, “Membership
card is pretty good.”
“Ms. Pierce liked it, and she even hoped Ms. Pierce would give us
a five–star review” Kyson smiled even more gently.
