Chapter49
Adelaide’s first reaction was Reginald’s pursuer.
Just this face, she seemed like she hadn’t seen at Evercrest. But
she knew it was Reginald’s car, so they must know each other,
she just hadn’t seen him before.
She said, “This was Mr. Thorton’s car that he lent me.“”
The moment she heard that, the woman got angry: “No way!
Reginald hates it when anyone touches his stuff.”
Soon, she squinted at Adelaide and asked in a row, “Did you
come to Eldoria with Reginald? Who are you to him? Why did

For her, any woman who can drive Reginald’s car is a very

immediately got emotional and exclaimed, “Hey, you!”
The conversation wasn’t finished yet, but two security guards
had already pulled her aside.
Adelaide drove away smoothly.
The woman was furious: “Run, I’ll show you how I catch you!”

Adelaide:
The woman lifted her chin, looking particularly proud, as if

showing off: I told you to run!
Adelaide just acted like she was air, ignoring everything.
“I’m Abigail Murray, Evan is my dad,” the woman suddenly
introduced herself, “Your turn to speak.”
She still had to do a self–introduction.
But Adelaide was still shocked for two seconds when she found
out she was Evan’s daughter.
She didn’t mean it that way, she simply replied, “Adelaide, the
architect of Mr. Thorton’s team.”
“No way! You were never on Reginald’s team in the first place!”
Abigail insisted.
“Is it possible that I am a new employee?”
Abigail was silent for two seconds, seemed to believe it. But
then she said in a sarcastic tone, “You’re so good–looking, I don’t
believe you don’t have any other intentions towards Reginald.“”
