Spencer was shocked for just two seconds and then quickly calmed down.

Since it was known, he didn’t bother to hide it. After all, he didn’t want to stand in front of Adelaide as a brother anymore. The identity of a brother was too restrictive.

The next second, he didn’t hide his affection at all, “Adele, you said you’ve known Garrett for 22 years, but did you forget that we met earlier than him?”

“Don’t call me like that anymore,” Adelaide openly showed a look of disgust, sneered, “Dad gave you a hint to take me out to persuade me to reconcile and drop the case, but what are you saying to me here? Spencer, you’re really no better than Garrett,

I’m serious.”

Reginald leaned his elbow on the car window and said, “Adelaide, do I have another rival in love again?”

“Adelaide was feeling down, but then out of nowhere, he said something that made her shake. It was like all her emotions were shaken off, and she forgot about feeling bad.”

“Spencer was going to take you abroad?”

When he asked the second question, Adelaide stared at him in horror, wondering how he could coincidentally appear here. In an instant, she calmed down and asked, “Where were you just

now?”

Reginald didn’t look too happy, knowing that Spencer also had ulterior motives towards Adelaide. Just wherf one problem was solved, another one popped up.

He was pushing himself to the limit by sitting here and talking

to her now.

“Do you think Spencer won’t find me if I hide inside?” he asked

nervously.

Because someone looked too gloomy, Adelaide wasn’t interested

in why he knew. She said lightly, “Can you stop giving me that

resentful look? We have nothing between us, not even a

beginning or an end.””

Reginald said, “You talk tough to me, but I didn’t see you being

tough at the police station.“”

“I’ll be tough if I have to.” She retorted defiantly.
