“This was borrowed from Mr. Zuniga.”
The next second, Reginald called Nathan internally and said,
“Get a laptop ready for Adelaide.”
Adelaide was pleasantly surprised, but actually, everything she
needed was already there when she started. As for the laptop,
it’s definitely not as convenient for designers as desktops. So
Adelaide didn’t even think about preparing one.
Who would have thought she had to run to the office so often
now.
“No need.“”
“No freebies, are you stupid?” Reginald snapped at her.
Adelaide pursed her lips, Okay, she would.
Nathan brought in the new computer quickly, while Mr.
Zuniga’s computer was taken back. But Adelaide will definitely
take some time to figure out the new computer.
So, she sat on the sofa, focused on tinkering. Reginald was doing
his own thing, and they didn’t talk, but the atmosphere was
quite harmonious.
Chapter179
Adelaide was only able to return to her desk to work after the
team had a last–minute meeting.
But then Reginald got another call from his mother.
“You gotta be honest with me, were you dating Adelaide?”
Nyasia asked in a serious tone.
“It’s coming soon!””
“Is it fast?” Nyasia’s voice suddenly became sharp, “Is Adriana
not okay?”
“You like it, you marry it.”
“I’m your mom! I’m a woman!” Nyasia almost rolled her eyes.
“You liking it doesn’t mean I like it,” Reginald said impatiently, “Three strikes, Mom. If there’s a next time, I’ll just get a green
card and not come back.”
“You!” Nyasia was furious, truly fearing Reginald’s threat. “Fine,
fine, I can’t control you, but someone can.”
The phone was hung up by Nyasia.
As for the people she mentioned, Reginald didn’t care much, just
his grandpa and Byron.

Chapter179
Near the end of the workday, Adelaide got a call from Cierra
with some bad news.
Anderson left ten minutes ago.
How she got into Reginald’s car, and how Reginald ended up
accompanying her to the Schmitt’s villa, she had already
forgotten. Right now, all she could think about were those
memories of Anderson taking her there.
There aren’t many people who are truly good to Adelaide.
Anderson was calculating.
Adding to what Garrett did to her before, it caused her to lose
contact with the teacher for so long. She has always felt guilty
about Anderson.
She hasn’t done what she promised to do.
Unconsciously, her eyes filled with tears.
Reginald handed Adelaide a tissue on the side, she took it and
whispered thank you.
“This illness is very painful, passing away earlier is also a relief
for the elderly,” said Reginald.
“I know!” Adelaide had already looked up pancreatic cancer.
Chapter179
Arriving at the Schmitt’s villa, there were cars parked outside
and along the road. She and Reginald walked a short distance
