CHARLOTTE...

'I am ready.' I Stated.

"Now, close your eyes." I heard my mate's command and followed.

"Inhale a deep breath... Now, relax and let your wolf take control of your body."

'Ready, Sierra?' I asked.

'Born ready.' She smirked as I calmed down my mind and slowly let her come forward.

I felt like, I was pulled back to the deep of my mind and suddenly, I felt pain all over my body.

A piercing sharp pain and bone-breaking sound crossed me, but I did not lose my patience.

And suddenly, I felt warm all over as the pain vanished.

"Owuooooooooooooo." A loud howl came to my ear and when I opened my eyes, I found myself standing on the four legs.

I looked down at myself. White dags were scattered all over me. I have turned into a white wolf! Oh! A rare white wolf!

'I... I am a white wolf!?' I was really stunned as Sierra giggled. 'Yeah, we are.'

Her tone caught me off guard. 'Wait... You knew?!'

She giggled again. 'I know lots of things you don't!' And winked, making me frown.

I was about to say something more to her when I heard,

"Owuoooooooooooo" I heard another howl.

It wasn't me. I turned my gaze to where Augustus was standing. Now, there was standing a huge black wolf with emerald-green eyes.

I gasped. He is so big! I mean, I know Alpha wolves are generally huge. I have seen it before but Augustus is huge!

I mean, hugely huge!

Is that because he is the King of all Alphas? Maybe, it is.

He stared at us and Sierra purred.

'Isn't he handsome much?' She said, eyeing him. Even though I wanted to roll my eyes at her, I couldn't because she was right.

Damon is so freaking handsome!

'Yeah, he is!' I nodded.

He walked toward us with his mighty aura and powerful steps. I heard about the fear of Damon before but now I realised why.

This huge black wolf is born to rule. A glance at him would shiver people both in fear and pleasure.

He stood before us and lowered his head to touch ours. He nuzzled and purred with his growling tone.

He then started walking around us. He takes a look closely, making us blush and shiver in bliss. Then stopped once again before us and nuzzled our heads.

'He wants us to take a run, Charlotte!' Sierra excitedly exclaimed and I felt so happy for her. Both of them actually.

I nodded. 'Yeah, go for it! I won't disturb your time with him.'

Saying, I closed myself, giving them their much needed space.

Almost three hours later, I woke up from sleep with Sierra's tone urging me to get up.

'What happened? Done spending time?' I asked as she nodded with a slight blush.

'Yeah, now it's time to take your lead, Charlotte.' She said and slowly started pushing me forward.

She yawned. 'I am tired. It's time to sleep.'

I felt the same pain again but this time it subdued much. When I opened my eyes, I found myself naked in the same place where we shifted.

His words fluttered through my heart and I felt a warmth of love in me.

I heard Mateo next,

He lowered his head and brought his neck a little forward in submission.

"Forgive me, Alpha. But, I didn't have any choice other than to find you. There is an unexpected attack from rouges in the Blue Moon pack. They even hurt some warrior wolves in the process. Other Alphas are anxious because of the situation and they are eagerly waiting for you there."

Augustus paused on his track, still holding me up in his arms.

"Attack of rouges?" His eyes darkened and the Alpha king mode started getting on.

Watching the frown on his face, I realised, he is being doubtful about the situation. But, I don't want it for him. He is the Alpha king, his presence is indeed important in this situation.

I touched his cheek as he looked down at me. I smiled.

"It's okay, Augustus. They need you. Moreover, I am tired after this shift. I need some sleep. I will wait for you to return."

He watched me for a moment and then looked up at Mateo.

"Wait here for me." And then turned around and started breaking the stairs, while I heard from behind.

"Yes, Alpha."

Soon, Augustus entered the room and slowly put me on the bed and tucked the duvet over me.

He leaned down and kissed my forehead before locking our gazes.

He caressed my cheek and then...

"I know, I did wrong the last two days. But, that does not mean I lost my interest. You are always my first priority, Charlotte. It's just... Me." His gaze lowered before they came back to me again.

"I trust you, Charlotte. I... Do." He kissed my forehead again. "Wait for me till I come back."

He stood up and walked out of the room, leaving me stunned and dumbfounded with a tremble of happiness...
