Soon after, the car arrived at the North Court again. Once she got out, Xavia immediately called out to Yulia to get her toys… However, even after calling her name a few times, the child didn’t run out.
Xavia specifically remembered telling Yulia to just watch television—and not run around—while she was out. Knowing how obedient her child was, the worried Xavia eventually went inside to look around… only to realize that Yulia was missing!
“…Where’s Yulia? Please, hurry and help me find the child…!” exclaimed the extremely anxious woman.
Upon hearing that, the secretary quickly comforted, “Not to worry, Third Young Lady. The Burton family’s old mansion is extremely safe. Nevertheless, I’ll be checking on the surveillance cameras now.”
“I appreciate it… Do contact me once you find her,” replied Xavia as she ran out and began looking around the courtyard…
When she couldn’t find any traces of Yulia there, she proceeded to look around other courtyards. Though the entire area was filled with beautiful pavilions, small bridges, and even lotus ponds, the sight of those only made Xavia feel even more worried. After all, Yulia couldn’t swim. What would happen to the child if she fell into the water?
Now more desperate than ever, the anxious Xavia called out, “Yulia…? Yulia…! Where are you…?!”
No matter how much she called out, however, no response returned…
Regardless, shortly after, Zivon—who had just left Lady Burton’s room—could be seen walking toward his own courtyard. On his way there, however, he couldn’t help but hear Xavia’s frantic voice. Turning to face the direction of her voice, he soon saw a flustered Xavia walking amongst the trees.
Having heard her call out to Yulia, Zivon frowned slightly as he walked over to her and asked, “Yulia’s here?”
Though Xavia was momentarily startled to see him here, she quickly snapped out of it before replying, “Indeed… I told her to remain in Young Master Keith’s courtyard since I had to leave for a while. Unfortunately, she wasn’t there when I returned, and I’m now worried that she could’ve fallen into the pond…”
Once the secretary left, Xavia was just about to walk over to Zivon’s courtyard… when she finally realized something. Where on earth was she…? Looking at Zivon, she was prompted to politely ask, “…How do I get to your courtyard, Uncle Zivon…?”
Zivon, however, simply stared back at her for a while before asking in a slightly oppressive, “…You moved into Keith’s villa?”
Though she tensed up for a moment, she quickly nodded as she casually replied, “Indeed. He’s a kind man, and I’d rather not have him come all the way to the Lockhart Mansion every time he wishes to see me. After all, he’s already busy enough having to deal with Lady Burton and work. With that in mind, moving in with him only makes sense.”
Hearing how considerate she was being toward Keith, Zivon couldn’t help but feel slightly annoyed. His brow now raised, he proceeded to say, “…When exactly did you get this close to Keith?”
In response, Xavia replied, “There’s no need for us lovers to report everything about our relationship to you, right, Uncle Zivon? Come to think of it, don’t you have a bit too much free time to be concerned about your nephew and his girlfriend’s private life?”
