Sven grumpily walked to his car, his heart swelling with fury at how Atlas had humiliated him. Even though it was just the two of them, Atlas should’ve reconsidered. After all, Atlas should know that begging him was the last thing Sven would do in this life, but Sven still did.
Why did Sven do that? Why did he swallow his pride and go to see Atlas for the last time?
Because at the end of the day, Sven wanted to regain his former glory through Global Prime Logistics and the Bennet Family. However, Atlas couldn’t see that. He wasn’t as insightful as he thought he was.
"That damn Atlas..." he gritted his teeth, gripping the steering wheel tightly. Looking up through the windshield, he glared daggers at the mansion. "Damn this family!"
Sven punched the steering wheel like a maniac, venting his overflowing anger. Panting, his eyes burned as he continued to glare at the mansion.
"They’ve always been so arrogant," he hissed to himself. "They didn’t even have the courtesy to let me into the house. Hah! Let’s see if you can still be arrogant in the future."
Sven reached for the compartment in front of the passenger seat in his fury. Taking out a suspicious red envelope, he checked the card inside. His eyes glinted maliciously as he stared at the contact number written beneath the letter.
"They’re all the same," he fumed. "I’ve given him a chance to save himself, but he just paraded why I dislike him in the first place."
When those words rolled off Sven’s tongue, he contacted the number and tried to call it. However, the call wouldn’t go through. He tried a few times, but the number was out of reach. Frustrated, he sent a message instead.
[To: Unknown
What is your proposal?]
Much to Sven’s surprise, seconds after sending that message, he received a reply from the same number. He furrowed his brows, finding it strange that a call wouldn’t connect, but the number instantly replied to him.
[From: Unknown
Come to this address.
95 St. XX Building....]
Sven stared at the address, his hand trembling as he held his phone. Taking a deep breath, he snapped his eyes back up at the Bennet Mansion. The corner of his mouth slowly twisted into a sinister sneer, his eyes glinting maliciously.
The Bennet Family had brought this upon themselves.
Starting with the fickle old man of the Bennet Family, who was so hung up on power, to Atlas, and down to Penny. All of them were arrogant fools who thought they were the only people who mattered. Sven was also an excellent student, sacrificing his youth to help with the family business at a young age.
Yet, in the end, Atlas got the position Sven was raised to have.
And now Sven was kicked out, mocked, humiliated, and just tossed aside. freewebnoveℓ.com
He would never accept this. He would get even. So, even if this envelope was sketchy, he didn’t care anymore. He would bring down the Bennet Family with or without any help.
"That’s right." Sven chuckled giddily, feeling much better with the thoughts filling his mind. "That’s right. If the company goes under during Atlas’s tenure, then... everyone will know he’s incompetent. Hihihi~!"
Slowly, Sven’s laughter turned menacing and creepy. His earlier displeasure faded as he felt elated by the wicked plan forming in his mind. With that, Sven started his car and drove away from the Bennet Mansion.

Hugo froze and turned his head in Butler Jen’s direction. "Butler Jen?"
"Second Young Master, what are you doing in the Third Young Master’s room?"
"Well, hehe." Hugo let out an awkward laugh before rushing to Butler Jen. "Butler Jen, please don’t tell Slater about this."
"But Second Young Master, I need to know why I shouldn’t tell him."
Hugo scratched his nape as he hummed a long tune. After a second, he grinned. "I’m pulling a prank on him. Penny’s orders."
"???"
"Joke. It’s Dad’s," Hugo sighed. "I’m just following orders, so please don’t tell him."
"Uh... okay?" Butler Jen nodded, despite his confusion, watching Hugo grin.
"Thanks! Really appreciate it!" Hugo happily tapped his shoulder before walking past Butler Jen. The latter, on the other hand, looked back at Hugo and tilted his head.
"I don’t think this refreshment is going to appease him," Butler Jen sighed, carefully entering the bedroom. He didn’t want to step on something that would trigger whatever Hugo had planted in the room.
Placing the tray on the study desk, Butler Jen heaved a sigh of relief as he reached this spot without any accidents. He was about to leave when he noticed something sticking out from one of the notebooks on the desk. Out of habit, Butler Jen was about to push it into the notebook, only to realize it wasn’t just a note.
"What is this?" he wondered out of pure curiosity, taking out the small photograph. His brows furrowed as he stared at an old and creased photograph of a woman. "Who is this? A demo of another themed photoshoot? But this photo looks very old."
