Just Getting Started.

“The call coming in was at 1300, the number is from a burner phone. I’m working on tracing it, but it takes….”

Tyler is interrupted by the door to the war room flying open. In walks my fire haired death goddess herself carrying a book and she appears to be on a mission. Damon, Thane and I watch in a stupor. I look over at Thane, but he isn’t paying attention. Most likely mind–linking Ayla to make sure she is okay.

I stand from the table that has maps and pictures sprawled out on it as Raven gets closer, determination set in her features.

“What are you doing?” I am confused that she would just walk into the meeting, not that we have anything to hide, but it is a little unprecedented, however she is unpredictable.

“Trying not to talk myself out of it.”

“Out of whaaaa” I don’t get time to answer because Raven jumps me quite literally. I grab a hold of her ass as her fast movement causes me to lose balance as I attempt to correct my footing, spinning me causing Raven to land on the table they are currently sitting at with me on top of her.

“What the…” Damon starts as Raven grabs me by the back of the neck, pulling me down on top of her. Our lips meet in a harsh kiss. This kiss is passionate, hungry and violent. Our teeth clash, as we suck and bite each other’s lips. I grow hungrier for my mate and forget those around us.

I grip the front of her neck firmly and rock my hips forward against her heat as her legs lock behind my hips.

“Get the fuck off the table Cyrus!” Thane says from somewhere above me. I start to lift Raven up as we continue our assault on each other.

“Stop, the map is in her ass crack.” I open my eyes and see Tyler reach for it, causing a deep warning growl to emanate from me.

“Let them keep it.” Thane suggests as I pull Raven away from the table.

“Did she just try to bite his ear off?” Damon asks as I turn and prop Raven against the wall trying to get my balance when my face is smothered by Fireball’s perfect tits. She pulls my head down and starts licking and biting my ear. Each pull of my ear lobe in her teeth and feel of her hot breath in my ear makes my dick twitch.

“Stop trying to top me from the bottom Fireball.” I state as I pull my mouth away, both of us trying to catch our breaths. “I’m in charge now.” My statement causes Raven to moan, and my mouth is on hers again, trying to smother her sweet sounds that are only for me as I start to blindly head for the door while carrying my needy mate, my hands firmly gripping her big ass. Damn.

“Gross.” Damon states from somewhere.

“Stop watching.” Tyler yells at Damon.

“How? It’s about to be a live fucking performance.” Damon yells back and I pull my mouth away, growling.

“Get out!” Thane yells and I carry Raven out of the war room as she still clutches the book behind me. I don’t notice by her scent that she is in heat yet. This is a lucid Raven, maybe preheat? I don’t know but I don’t want her to talk herself out of it either.

I hit the elevator button and waited as Raven, and I continue kissing each other. Her lips are soft, and she allows my tongue into her mouth every time I want to gain entry. This kiss is slow and patient as we wait for the elevator. The nonchalant pace is quite exhilarating. Who will stop their slow kiss first?

The elevator dings and I start to walk into it, growling at shifters that remain in it until they decide it is safer to make a quick exit. They are

correct.

I push the button down and hold Raven against the wall. Her legs are still wrapped tightly around me. My forehead rests on hers as we are both gasping for breath.

“Are we going to talk about this?” I ask because something must have driven her to make this decision.

“Not now,” she replies.
