I am pacing the war room trying to keep together in front of my men. They

“How do we know Raven is telling the truth? Tyler asks and within seconds Cyrus has lunged for him from the couch. Damon attempts to pull Cyrus off of Tyler.

“ENOUGH!” I yelled, pressing my aura into the room. They become quiet and Cyrus backs off of Tyler.

Cyrus walks back to the couch and takes a seat. “She isn’t lying. My mate may be a lot of things, but she isn’t a liar. At least when it doesn’t Involve her feelings. She will lie to cover those all day long.”

“Sorry. So, Stevens knows that Thane is mated, he doesn’t know who she is. Tyler restarts the conversation again.

“He doesn’t but I gave him specifics of my mates rescue. She was the only shifter in a cage to my knowledge, and I told him how long she wa captive. He may not know who she is, but he will tell Mikhail that I was responsible for that raid and who my mate turned out to be.” I turn toward them and sit down on the desk.

“Im going to tell them the truth.” There is no other choice. I refuse to lead a pack dishonestly. If their way of life is in jeopardy, they should know about it.

“We risk tipping off Mikhail that we are on to him if we make a pack announcement. Damon turns away from the map, arms crossed over his chest as well.

“Mikhail may know that we are on to him, but Stevens wouldn’t. We need to decide if we informer the other alliance members.” I counter.

“We don’t even know if we can trust others now.” Tyler interjects and he does have a point. We don’t know how deep the ring reaches.”

“They can’t all be dirty. Not all of them border Stevens either.” I state, growing increasingly frustrated with this circling conversation.

“That will spread to us too thin. Start with Stevens. Call logs will tell us a lot. Tyler suggests.
