Warren
Everyone stands silently as Quirin walks away with Henry. He’s probably the best person to drive Quirin home in his current state. I know! lost my shit when Yara was taken from me. I was ready to burn the world to the ground to find her. But somehow, I don’t think I was ever as dark and brutal as Quirin. Goddess help anyone who ever hurts someone that man loves.

turn back, looking at Christer’s previous pack. I realize by the looks on their faces that it’s extremely unlikely that anyone will ever dare to touch or even look cross–eyed at a Harris again. I’m not sure what that means for his myriad of daughters, but as their grandfather, I’m glad to know that just the threat of their father will keep them safe.
“I think I understand now why the Academy denied him,” a military looking man who looks vaguely familiar says, watching Quirin go.
“Who are you?” I ask him.
“My name is Raptor. This is my team. We were sent here by the Council,” he says, gesturing to the two individuals who are obviously not elite warriors. “We were to remand Alpha Christer into custody for his actions of hiding Alpha Arden’s embezzlement activities and for using that knowledge to entrap Alpha Cyra in an alliance agreement.”
“You were in the courtroom for Alpha Leo’s hearing,” Connor says, as he walks up reminding me where I know Raptor from. Connor tosses me a pair of shorts and I pull them on while we talk.
“That’s correct,” he says. “I’m leader of the Alpha Team. Alpha Warren, you should know that another team along with more Council members are on their way to Alpha Arden’s pack to take him into custody as well,” he says.
“Cyra,” I say, reaching for my phone that is back in the van.
“She and your son, Alpha Yorick, were on their way over there when we left.”
The two council members step up to us. “Alpha Warren, I am councilwoman Rebecca Kaufmann and this is Councilman Jared Jackson. Law dictates that as the Alpha who overthrew the existing Alpha, Alpha Quirin now controls and leads this pack.”
“He is aware of that, but believe me, you want him to see my daughter before he addresses the pack members,” I say.
“Yes. He’s very… intense,” she says.
“Passionate is the word my mate uses for him,” I say, smiling as I think of how many times I had to remind Yara that I am just as ‘passionate‘
as Quirin when it comes to wanting her.
“As his father–in–law, how would you like to proceed? The Council can take control of the pack until he returns, or as his family, you can,” she
says.
I look at Connor. “I need to go help Cyra. Can you stay until Quirin returns? It might be tomorrow.”
“I’ll call Madison and get things cleaned up here. We’ll take the pack temporarily for Alpha Quirin,” he says looking behind me at the warriors who are all standing around looking worried.
Before I leave, I feel the need to help Connor settle these pack members. They just lost their Alpha publicly and viciously. I’m sure they are
terrified and without a link to an Alpha, they are probably feeling lost.
“Who is Beta here?” I ask.
“I am, Alpha,” a man says walking up.

Chapter 260
“I’m Alpha Warren, and this is my son, Alpha Connor. We will be taking charge of this pack until Alpha Quirin can return.”
“Returns to kill us?” a warrior asks.

“My son–in–law is a vicious man when someone threatens those he loves, that is true. But he’s a ‘good Alpha,” I say gesturing to his warriors who are still encircling Christer’s warriors. “Ask any of his pack members.”
“Alpha Quirin is an excellent Alpha. Luna Kennedy is a kind and loving Luna. Together, they are a powerful team and great leaders. If you’re worried about how Alpha Quirin will treat you, imagine that you are his pack member and someone threatens his pack. This,” the warrior, Randall, says gesturing to the remains of Alpha Christer, “this is what happens to anyone who threatens our pack.”
“Beta, what’s your name?” Connor asks.
“I’m Beta Eric, Alpha.”
“I’m Alpha Connor. As my father said, he and I will be taking temporary control of this pack. I know you may be feeling a bit uncertain, especially since you don’t have a link to your Alpha at the moment. Rest assured we will rectify that as soon as Alpha Quirin returns. Beta Eric, I would appreciate it if you could help me assure the pack that they are safe and help keep them calm until such time as Alpha Quirin returns and takes his official place as your Alpha.”
“Will we have to move? This is our home,” another warrior says.
Connor looks at me.
“There are a lot of things that need to be decided and none of those things will be decided today. For now, you are safe. Alpha Connor will remain here until Alpha Quirin returns,” I tell them.
I turn, looking at Quirin’s and Henry’s warriors. Since both Alphas are gone, I take charge of their warriors.
“Warriors from Alpha Henry’s pack, please return to your pack. Warriors from Alpha Quirin’s pack, divide up, half of you stay here to help keep the peace in this pack and the rest return home,” I say, turning to Connor.
“Same with my warriors. Divide up, half of you stay here, the other half can return home,” he says.
I turn back to Raptor. “How far is Alpha Cyra’s pack from here?“,
Tracker steps forward. I hadn’t realized that she was here earlier. I realize that she smells like Raptor and when I look, I see a relatively new
mate mark on her neck.
“Here you go, Alpha Warren,” she says, handing me a device with a hi–tech looking map.
“You are here. This is Alpha Quirin’s new pack. Alpha Cyra’s pack is here, about twenty miles away in that direction,” she says, pointing southeast. “This area is the land we talked about that is currently vacant.” She’s pointing to the areas on the map as she explains where they are to me.
“Thank you,” I say, before looking at Connor. “I’m taking one of the vans, but I’m not far if you need me.”
“I’ll check in later tonight and let you know how things are going,” he says.
I look around once more to make sure that everything is as settled as it can be before jogging toward the vans at the entrance of this pack.
I find my phone and call Yorick as I get into the van.
“Where are you?” I ask him.
“We’re just pulling into Cyra’s pack lands,” he says.

Chapter 260
“I’m at Christer’s pack. I’m headed your way. I’ll be there soon.”
He’s quiet for a moment.
“It looks like the Council is already here, and it’s not going well. I need to go,” he says before hanging up.
Igrab the map and hit the gas. I have no idea what I’m walking into, but I know I need to be there to support Cyra and my son.

I’ve been nervous since my family left. I know my mate is a powerful fighter, but I also know he was barely hanging on when he left me this morning. I hope that he doesn’t lose control completely and destroy the entire pack. They are not responsible for what their Alpha did.
My mother has been keeping me busy, having me practice some new lessons I’m learning while she shows Quilla and Quinlee how to stitch an organ inside a body using one of the many dummies we have for practice here. It’s a good distraction, but when Quirin’s mind connects to mine, I can feel the fury still roiling inside him.
“They’re back,” I say to my mother, jumping up.
Luna, Alpha Henry is bringing Alpha Quirin to you. He said to stay where you are, Alpha needs you,’ the guard at the gate says in the mind
link.
‘Is he injured?‘ I ask.
“I’m honestly not sure, Luna. He’s covered in blood,’ he says. It must be bad if the guard, a previous rogue, sounds worried.
I rush to the doors of the hospital just as Henry pulls up. My eyes lock onto my mate’s. He’s got that crazed look in his eyes that I’ve only seen a couple of times in my life.
He gets out of the car, snarling as he pulls me into his arms, his mouth latching onto mine.

The readers' comments on the novel: The Pack's Doctor
I'm so excited!!! Yorrick's story is finally being written (i had already lost hope on this) - thank you!!! It's really statisfying to read all those hints about who will be mated together. And it's nice that Yorric's story includes not only him, but also Wendy. I'm being kept on edge how Henry's story will roll out. *about gibberish parts: yeah, there are quite a few, but come on, it's not like we pay for the service to have the right to require good quality! I'm just happy i'm able to read what i like!...
157 is all gibberish as well. I can't undeestand anything about the famiky leaving, & what her mom is saying about the work sge needs to do in her relashionship.. the auther seriously needs to rewrite or edit all these errors....
The beginning of Chapter 156 is all gibberish.. wth??!!?? Why does this happen all the time 🫤...
Great story but im at chapter 137 & there's a lot of parts where the words are all scrambled leaving the reader to have to try and desipher what is being said. That kind of disrupts the flow .....
It's my favorite book of all the books about warewolves that I've read! I come back to reread it again and again, after finishing another not so enthralling story from another author. I will soon know this story by heart, but it's still way more pleasureable to read than all the rest :)...
