The Divorce Prescription (Celina and Adam) novel Chapter 743

Fiona looked at Nigel and sighed. "Why is Carly so stubborn? It's obvious Mr. Alvarez doesn't love her. Marriage can't be forced like this."

Nigel understood Carly all too well. In the entire Capitol, no man could compare to Adam. Carly had always wanted to marry the most outstanding man, and she wasn't going to let go that easily.

At first, he had wanted Adam to marry Carly simply because she was his daughter. However, Adam's feelings for Celine had never wavered, even after three years.

Nigel let out a sigh. "I'll find time to talk to Carly."

Fiona nodded. "Alright. Let's go back to our room. Your back is still strained. I'll help you apply some medicine."

After dinner, Celine took Bella to their room and helped her take a bath.

As Bella sat in the warm water, she suddenly giggled. "Mommy, Mr. Handsome hasn't come back since he left today. Is he very busy?"

Celine wasn't sure what Adam had been up to. "Bella, he probably went to the office. His company is very big, and he has a lot of people to manage."

Bella pouted. "That sounds really tiring for him."

Celine playfully tapped Bella's nose. "So you feel bad for Mr. Handsome, but not for me? Now I'm jealous."

Bella wrapped her arms around Celine and gave her a big kiss on the cheek. "Mommy, I love you the most!"

Celine chuckled, then lifted Bella from the bath and set her on the bed. "Be good and read your storybook for a bit. I'm going to take a quick shower."

Bella nodded obediently. "Okay!"

Celine went into the bathroom, and Bella flipped through her storybook. Just then, the door opened, and Adam stepped inside.

Bella's eyes brightened up. "Mr. Handsome, you're back!"

Adam walked straight into the room. The soft, warm yellow light filled the space—illuminating Bella, who was freshly bathed and dressed in soft yellow pajamas, making her look incredibly cute. She smiled at him, and Adam immediately felt his exhaustion melt away.
