Artur's eyes twitched as he watched the last 8 super soldiers desperately trying to hold their ground.
At this rate, it was only a matter of time before the entire unit was wiped out.
Tanqueria had poured 30 years into building this force.
Trillions of dollars had gone into crafting these super soldiers ...
Was everything really going to vanish in a single day?
If they lost this fight against the Divine Drakebane, all 16 super soldiers would be wiped out—no survivors.
And with them, Artur's entire career would crash and burn.
"Drakebane, hold your fire!" he shouted, panic rising in his voice. "Let's talk this out!"
Robin didn't even acknowledge Artur's plea—he kept tearing into the super soldiers, showing no intention of stopping.
Artur, furious and desperate, jabbed a finger in Robin's direction. "Drakebane, what's wrong with you?! We've already called for a ceasefire, and you're still killing! Don't you care if the world sees you as a cold-blooded butcher?"
"Fuck!" Robin snarled, smashing a super soldier's skull with a punch. "You power-hungry cowards really have no shame!
"Cold-blooded?" He scoffed.
"Are you stupid?"
"At your age, and you still don't understand what the God of Death stands for?"
"They call me that not because I fear anyone, but because I show no mercy to people like you—corrupt leaders, liars, and manipulators.
"I have no mercy for oppressors, for those who pretend to be noble while hiding their cruelty, for liars and manipulators who twist the truth for their own gain. I would tear them apart without hesitation, make them pay in blood, and ensure justice catches up with them—no matter where they run.
"You self-proclaimed heroes—do you really believe that pointing your blades at me will somehow bring peace? What kind of twisted logic is that?!
"You seriously think this is just some harmless duel?
"Don't fool yourself with talk of truces! If you're coming for my life, then this ends only one way—one of us dies, no backing down!
"Boom! Boom!" Two more deafening blasts shook the air.
The two super soldiers had their heads crushed by Robin.
That fierce, bloodthirsty dragon dagger continued its relentless work, mercilessly tearing apart those powerful bodies forged from biological material in the same brutal fashion.
Artur was on the brink of madness as he stared at the battlefield littered with shredded bio-remains.
At that moment, he truly regretted ever crossing paths with the terrifying Divine Drakebane.
Meanwhile, Leonid, who had been watching silently, had already begun planning his escape.
Right now, all Leonid could think about were the chilling words the Divine Drakebane had spoken before the fight began.
This merciless man wasn't just here to wipe out the super soldiers—he was out for blood, aiming to slaughter them all and then storm straight into the Tanqueria's National Security Bureau.
He really was a cold-blooded reaper.
Are the top brass of the Tanqueria completely brainless? What made them think it was a good idea to mess with a monster like him?
If even armor-piercing rounds and their so-called elite super soldiers couldn't put a dent in him, what hope did they have of stopping the Divine Drakebane?
Are they seriously thinking about using nukes just to bring him down?
The people at the very top of Tanqueria's chain of command have enough sense not to let the Security Bureau go off the rails.
That would just paint the Tanqueria as the true villains in the eyes of the world.
Their future? Completely destroyed.
The Divine Drakebane was ready to walk away—but those idiots just had to poke the hornet's nest.
Now they've not only embarrassed themselves on the world stage, but they've backed themselves into a corner with no exit.
And at this point, a ceasefire? That ship has long since sailed.
If we don't get out of here now, then when?
"Leonid, you can't just run away!"
