Nova Entertainment Productions was officially established and began operations. Now that the company was officially up and running, it needed qualified personnel to keep things moving.
Skylar instructed Human Resources to quickly launch a hiring spree on recruitment platforms, determined to make the company fully operational,
Despite the urgent need, Skylar insisted on handpicking every candidate meticulously.
Skylar had her assistant arrange for a lawy
to draft a contract, and then called Rachel to come in to sign it at the company.
I out for a pen to sign the contract. Skylar teased her playfully, “Aren’t you going to take a look before
When Rachel arrived, she immediately rea signing? What if I put some unfair terms in the contract?”
Rachel said firmly, “I trust you wouldn’t do that.”
Skylar took the pen from Rachel’s hand and set it aside. “Just kidding,” she said, her tone turning serious. “But you really should be careful. Many entertainment companies sneak tricky clauses into

careful when signing contracts, no matter what you do. Otherwise, you could pay a heavy price.”
Rachael followed the advice. She opened the contract and started to examine it closely.
“Skylar, this… Why is it phrased this way?” Rachel hesitated, pointing to a clause in the contract, and asked.
The contract stipulated that Party A would provide Party B with various training courses to enhance Party B’s overall competencies.
Upon completion of the training, Party B might terminate the agreement and leave at any time without incurring any breach penalties. Such a term was unheard of in the entertainment industry
After investing so much time, money, and resources into grooming a potential artist, the artist could leave before even generating any returns. No entertainment company would do such a thing.
Rachel pursed her lips and said, “Skylar, maybe you should revise this clause?”
Skylar shook her head and said, “No need.
“We’re a new company. I truly appreciate your trust in us and have agreed to sign up as our artist.
“This isn’t an isolated contract just for you. Every artist we sign up will get the same terms.”
Rachel bit her lip and asked, “Skylar, aren’t you worried you might lose money this way?”
Skylar propped her chin on her hands and said, “If I choose to trust someone, I’ll trust them completely. Besides, if they ever decide to leave, where else would they find a company that treats them as well as we do?
“When it comes to choosing between us and those exploitative agencies that mistreat their artists, I trust they’ll make the right decision.”
Rachel thought to herself, ‘Yeah, Skylar’s company is rare and exceptional in the entertainment industry. No one would be foolish enough to betray Skylar and sign with those exploitative agencies, would they?‘
After reading through the remaining terms of the contract, Rachel picked up the pen and signed it confidently. “Skylar, I’m looking forward to with you,” she said.
Skylar took back the contract and signed it. “Since you’ve chosen to join us, I won’t let you down.
“I’ve requested my assistant to scout for a manager for you. We’ll make sure to find you the most capable manager in the business.”
