Chapter 33 

Jonathan still didn’t understand why I wanted a divorce after all this time. 

I suddenly let out a bitter Lugh 

I was chillingly calm as I replied, “I don’t have any feelings for you anymore. Every day with you feels worse than death.” 

I spoke the cruelest words in the calmest tone possible. 

Sure enough, the intense cloudiness in Jonathan’s eyes seemed to lift, as if my sharp words had sliced right through it. 

He paused for a long time, then gave a half–laugh, as if mocking himself. “Fine. If you want a divorce, let’s go by the agreement.” 

Our premiptial agreement stated that if I wanted to initiate the divorce, I had to pay him 100 million dollars in compensation 

I gritted my teeth and decided to go all in. “Do you think I can’t make 100 million dollars? I’ll eam it and show you!“. 

Jonathan looked at me coolly, “I’ll wait and see 

“When I earn that money, will you divorce me willingly?” I asked. 

Jonathan Mared at me steadily. “We’ll talk about it once you eam that much money.” 

Anger surged in my chest.

The truth was, I couldn’t eam that much. Afterall, I had lost my memory, and in my mind, I was still barely an adult. For an 18–year–old like me, 100 million dollars was a sum I couldn’t even dream of eaming, 

However, the feeling of being looked down upon was unbearable, and it sparked an intense, inexplicable determination within me. 

I looked at him and said. “Just wait, Jonathan. One day, I’ll throw that money in your face!” 

Jonathan scoffed, but he didn’t say anything in response. 

I took a step back and firmly said, “Before that happens, I need you to promise me something.” 

He raised an eyebrow. “Tell me first. I may not agree.” 

“First, our relationship is already beyond repair. I don’t want to see you, and I certainly don’t want to see Alicia,” I said, pausing for a moment before continuing.” If you insist on keeping me here, then I don’t want either of you coming near me.”
