Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 2412

On one morning at the Jensen residence, Zane was up early and sat in the garden glistening with morning dew.

In front of the blooming flowers along the east wall, he set up his easel and was leisurely painting for once.

Just as he was about to finish, he suddenly noticed a tortoise and a turtle at his feet. One was large and ferocious, while the other was smaller and blank.

Both had their necks craned as they watched him paint.

Albany had taken Torty out for a walk this morning and happened to notice Zane.

It wasn't familiar with Zane, but Torty seemed to like this human quite a bit and voluntarily inched closer. So, it had no choice but to follow.

"Why are you painting?" Albany asked. "Taking a picture is so much faster."

One click, and they could take as many pictures as they wanted.

Zane was used to the fact that Albany could talk. Instead of responding to its question, he looked at the two creatures, and seemingly on a whim, bent down to pick up Torty.

"Hey! What are you doing to Torty! Put it down!"

Seeing Zane reach out, Albany instantly rose into the air in a cloud of black smoke, as if to save Torty from Zane.

But Zane remained unfazed. With the brush in hand, he started painting directly on Torty's shell.

The brush seemed light and casual, but it was as if it held magical power. In the blink of an eye, Torty's shell was covered in flowers of full bloom.

Albany grimaced. "So flashy. Totally not intimidating."

After drawing on Torty, Zane turned to look at Albany. The moment their eyes met, it suddenly had a bad feeling. "I-I'm the Almighty King of Testudines! Don't you dare lay a finger on me!"

Five minutes later, its shell was also blooming with flowers.

With flowing white hair, Bianca's hands were propped against the wall as she tilted her head and gazed down at him.

"Heard another Zenyoist cultivator invited you to join their monastery. Why didn't you go?"

Zane smiled faintly and lifted the brush in his hand.

Atop the wall, Bianca seemed to understand immediately and replied, "Yeah, true. Monasteries are boring, and even demons don't hang out there. Staying here's better, right? You've got Shannon and so many people to keep you company."

She suddenly remembered something and hastily added, "Don't tell Shannon I'm here, or she'll drag me back to train again. I finally had a chance to sneak out and breathe."

Zane gave a small nod and agreed. So, Bianca sprawled across the wall and basked in the morning sun, looking completely at ease.

Zane's thoughts stirred. He raised his brush again and pointed at her. No words were needed, and Bianca understood right away.

"You want to paint me too? Oh, that's kind of embarrassing. No one's ever painted my portrait before."
