Ex-Husband Begone (Bethany and Terrence) novel Chapter 86

Chapter86

What kind of days did she actually live?

When she woke up, he definitely wanted to ask her.

Bethany married Terrence.

That was the man at the top of the pyramid, presumably with

countless servants at home.

She was a wealthy lady from a prominent family, she didn’t need to work hard and even lacked enough sleep.

Julio tightly gripped the steering wheel.

He didn’t want to park, so he drove slowly around the outskirts of Nimburg.

Until the car ran out of gas.

He went to the gas station to refuel. When the car stopped, Bethany slowly opened her eyes.

She thought she had arrived home, but she realized she was at a gas station.

Julio worried that she asked too many questions and smiled,

saying, “We arrived in town, not too far from your house.

Today, I don’t know what happened, but there was heavy traffic on the highway.”

After Bethany woke up, she felt extremely hungry. She took

out her phone and realized that it was already past one o’clock

in the afternoon.

It was really congested.

She quickly gestured to Julio and asked, “Are you hungry?”

“It was already past one o’clock, I was hungry.”

Bethany signalled to him in sign language, inviting him to have

a meal.

Julio was delighted.

He filled up the gas, paid the bill, and then drove to a restaurant.

At that moment, Terrence had just woken up.

Yesterday he talked with the client all night and planned for

two or three days of work, which he finished in one day.

When I came back, it was already dawn.

He came out after washing up, and Krista sat quietly in the

living room, operating the computer.

Did you eat?

Terrence walked over.

“Not yet, waiting for you.”

“Sorry, slept for too long. Let’s go, to have a meal.”

Terrence stopped by Krista’s side and saw an unfinished picture

on Krista’s computer screen.

Terrence stared at the screen for a while and said, “Were you

designing that ‘Last Judgment?”

Krista smiled and said, “Yes, Ms. Guzman had a high opinion of

that piece that day. I want to give it a try and see if I can achieve

the exact same effect with my skills. Terrence, I really

appreciate you and Emery for buying that artwork and giving it

to me.”

“Draw well, I believe in your level and skills without any doubt.”

Krista mentioned to Terrence that she wanted to apprentice under Cassie.

Terrence had not told Krista before the matter was resolved.

To avoid disappointing her.

When the picture was finished, he took it to show Cassie, and maybe this matter would be settled.

“Thank you for your praise, I will keep working hard.”

“Let’s go.”

Krista closed her computer and stood up. Just as she took a few steps, she said, “Oh, by the way, there’s something I almost

forgot to tell you. Eliza called you this morning. Your phone was

in the living room, and I was afraid that Eliza needed something,

so I answered the call. But she didn’t say anything, and I heard a

sound like something breaking in the background. Do you want

to contact Eliza and ask about the situation?”

Terrence’s eyes suddenly tightened.

If it was Eliza, it was impossible for her to not say a word.

Is it Bethany?

Krista noticed Terrence’s change in expression.

Actually, she also guessed it was Bethany.

Terrence’s eye color quickly returned to normal, and his voice was gentle, “The hotel has a restaurant on the third floor. You go ahead and order, I’ll make a phone call and come over right away!”

“Okay.”

After Krista left, Terrence immediately took out his phone and dialed Bethany’s number.

Broke off in one go.
