Not Ready For My Mate novel Chapter 39

When I walked in I saw all the Ancients, sitting there, but when they acknowledged that it was me they all stood up and bowed. "Queen Sky what are you doing here, we heard you were recruiting already." Ancient Sinead asked.

I nodded my head then spoke,"I have been recruting but I have made the decision that no one will fight in this war with me, I will not let anyone put their lives on the line for me."

They all look shocked but then gained they're composure, Ancient Caldon spoke, "Queen Sky, what made you think to do this?" he asked quizically, I sighed, "Moona told Kyle that he was going to die, he told me today, and that that made me think and come to the decision that no one will die if they dont fight." I said sternly, they all nodded their heads while processing the information.

Ancient Michelle sighed then looked at me, "Remember when we told you, you would have to soon choose the next ten Ancients," I nodded, "Well if you don't let them show they're loyalty to you, you can't choose who should be assigned the role. The only way is if they show they would fight even if it meant dying but they did it for you."

I shook my head, "But I dont want anyonde to put their lives at stake for me, I would feel too guilty if they died I wouldn't get through the pain." They all nodded, its weird how they do it in snyc.

"Its the way of life, Sky everyone is destined in a way to die, they will die no matter what, its nothing you can stop, so stop trying to make sure they're all safe. I wouldn't be surprised if they all showed up to the fight without you knowing if you tell them they cant fight to help you."

I sighed That's most likely true, they're just that crazy to do it. I ran my hands over my face then looked up at them, "Your right, as always. I guess I have no choice." They all smiled at me, instead of going straight home I stayed there for a couple hours to catch up. People would think they are all grumpy, and old fashioned but they are the biggest goofballs and pranksters that I know.

After a couple hours I said goodbye and transported home. I was standing by the front door gaining my composure.

After a minute of deep breaths, I opened the door and walked inside. Just as I was about to reach the staircase I was pulled into a group hug by my family, friends wasn't even the word to descirbe how much they meant to me.

They were my family even if they weren't all blood related. After our hug session, they released me, I looked at all of them thinking that I'm the most luckiest person in the world to have these amazing people by my side.

"Sky your not-" I interrupted Kyle from speaking, "I know you all are not going to not help, because your all to damn stubborn and for that I'm greatful, thank you guys." I heard sniffling coming from Gwen, "Stop it you know I hate crying."

IM PREGNANT!!!

I'm standing in the living room right now, contemplating on how I'm going to tell everyone the news. Kyle's sitting beside me, I can see he's proud but I can also see that he's as scared as I am on how everyone, especially my brothers, are going to take this.

Maybe I can use the excuse on how they can't say anything to me after the amazing birthday presents I got them. The day I gave it to them, was hilarious.

Flashback

It was the day of my brothers birthday, I woke up at exactly the time they were sort of born, 01:23 considering they were born a couple minutes apart but anyways. Since they're heavy-ass sleepers I could levitate them to the backyard, everyone else was awake and standing behind me, we all counted to three.
