Soon enough we pulled up to school, finding parking quickly. Everyone else began to make their ways from the parking lot to the front entrance while I was trying to calm myself down. They all knew why I was stalling, not pushing me. I took a deep breath before finally getting off the bike.
I made my way over to them and we began making our way closer to the front entrance. As we were walking, I immediately spotted Kyle and his friends, noticing that they were all staring. I soon found his gaze, instantly locking with them. There was happiness as he looked at me, along with a huge smile on his lips. My heart warmed at that but then anger consumed me to the thought that someone had told him I was dead.
Just as we were about to pass by them, I gasped loudly when I was pulled against a large chest, strong arms quickly wrapping around me. By the tingles I felt, I knew it was Kyle. I wanted to stay like this forever but the moment was soon gone when I was ripped from his hold. I heard Moona whimpering in my head for her mate, wanting to be close to him again.
"Don't touch her!" Scott growled at Kyle, shoving him back. Kyle growled angrily at Scott but he paid Kyle no mind as everyone else began dragging me inside and away from him. I gazed one last look over my shoulder at him, letting a small smile grace my lips. He instantly noticed and it was as if he had just won the lottery with how big of a smile he had.
When inside, we made our way to the office needing to get our schedules. Comparing each other's schedules I saw that I had almost every period with one of them. We all had lunch together though I did have my free period, Chemistry and Math classes alone.
Our first lesson was Biology and I had that with the guys while Mickey had history. I enjoyed some aspects of history but not everything. We said our goodbyes and made our way to the class.
When we entered everyone looked up at us. I recognized almost everyone in the class and not in a good way. We spoke with the teacher for a bit and learned that there would be a test right now. The boys were instantly out but I volunteered to still write. He agreed, handing me the paper before warning me that it would be difficult. I rolled my eyes and quickly found a seat. I heard many whispers as I took my seat but I shut them all out. I didn't need to listen to what they had to say about me.
Soon enough the teacher allowed us to start. Reading through the first question I smirked, easily answering it. Although I was by the Ancients for over a year it doesn't mean my parents let our studies go out the window. The Ancients had managed to find us a really good tutor who covered everything we needed to know.
About fifteen minutes passed and I placed my pencil down, having finished the paper easily. I looked around, expecting to see more people finished but was shocked when most were still on the first page. I got up from my desk, attracting attention as I handed my paper to the teacher.
I arrived a bit late as I had realized when the bell rang that the class, I needed to be in was on the other side of the school. I quickly entered, apologizing for being late then stopped when a familiar scent hit me. It was the same scent from last night.
The vampire...
Micaelas POV
The day has just started and I'm already over it. I didn't like the students here; in my history class all I got were stares and disgusted looks. Like what did I do to deserve them already hating me? I already understood why Sky hated being here but now I understand her pain even more, and it hasn't even been a full day. I had to stick it out though, Sky was my friend and she needed me, plus I still needed to at least complete high school.
