Chapter 114
ALESSANDRO’S POV
I gripped the weapon in my hands as 1 gestured for my men to stay back. The dirty old building stood in the middle of nowhere. This is the location that Mark Leopold had sent me. It could be a trap and here I fucking was.
“Spread out and search for Nikolai immediately!” I ordered and my men didn’t waste another second and ran in all different directions to search for Nikolai.
I felt my myself imagining the worst scenarios and my heart was thumbing hard against my chest. My body was shaking, but I tried to not make my panic visible for the others to see. If the other mafias saw how much Anthony meant to me,
they could use it against me in the future, if Anthony would still be alive of course…

I silently prayed that everything was alright with Anthony, because I didn’t know what to do without him. I didn’t know if I really fell for him, but the feeling of potentially losing him was hurting like a bitch.
A bullet shot out of the barrel of my gun; piercing his skull. One bullet, that’s all it took before he slumped on the ground like a puppet released from his strings. A man walked toward him to see what had happened to him, his eyes went wide.
His eyes darted all around, guns pointing in all directions.
That was when we started the shooting began. Bullets ruthlessly spilled out from all directions killing the men in front of
the door, the balconies, and every other fucking corner of the house.
The muscles in my jaw twitched, and rage overtook every single cell of my body.
The entire area was being patrolled by a mere fifty men, all wiped out.
I walked to the fucking door, my gun spat out bullets relentlessly and with a loud crash, it fell. We ran in, a hundred of us
and just a few of them. I killed every fucking bastard that stood in our way. Men, women, everyone. I have no compassion for someone who had tried to touch what’s mine, someone who had hurt someone that belongs to me.
As I entered the room where a handful of my men were standing the first thing I saw was blood. A lot of blood.
They transported the leech of a young, halfnaked woman out of the room, followed by a dead man, who I immediately identified, as one of my ex–workers and was now part of Leah’s mafia. He has always been a pain in the ass, but he was definitely not to be underestimated.
“Cut his head off and send it to Leah.” I ordered and they nodded quickly.
Fucking traitor!.
Every man of Leah was killed but I was fucking afraid.
I was afraid of stepping inside of the room to see in which state Nikollai was in, but I had to find out if he was alright.
My heart dropped as I saw him laying in a corner of the room completely naked and drained in blood. But I sighed in relief as I saw that he was still alive, breathing uncontrollably and shaking fiercely.
“Everybody leave the room and tell Leah, that if she dares to hurt my husband again, I’ll kill off her whole family and her pathetic little gang!”

My men nodded and did as I said.
I approached Nikolai quickly and knelt down in front of him. I sat him up and put my arms around him to make him calm down from his panic attack.
“Try to control your breathing, Precious.”
I blinked several times as I took in his busted–up face. He fucking needed medical help. Leaving the rest to my men, I picked up Nikolai in my arms and hissed as the bullet wound stung. One of Leah’s men had shot me on the hand and it fucking hurt me but I didn’t care.
I only cared about Nikolai.
I took off my jacket to cover most of his naked body and carried him out of the room in a bridal style.
I ignored all the curious and shocked faces from the people around me and just stepped into the backseat of my car with Nikolai’s unconscious body on my lap.
Antonio was already in the driving seat, ready to start the engine at my order.
Antonio drove straight home, he took peeks through the rearview mirror at his bleeding, bruised swollen face. Fuck, I could not even recognize him.
“Is he alive?!”
